week 5 update tomorrow, the room smells so sweet and the ladies love the water,

week 5 is transition week and time for some PK from Canna. 1 ml per liter
Room temp 82 day/ 73 night
RH 65%+
res temp 66
PPM 650
pH 5.8

I think the pictures speak for themselves hard to believe that in pix # 11 it's 3 plants, total of 9 in there, 3 smaller ones and the rest are quite large, me thinks chain saw time in 3 weeks. As you can see the NightFire OG loves to be topped, one plant has 7 king buds on it and the others have 5, smell just draws you in fresh sweet flowers with a hint of fruit and something else just can't put my finger on it. They are light feeders and do not like it strong at all, saves money on food too. You will see this beautiful girl in my garden for a long time. eyes got to wear sunglasses it's so bright in there lol

as I mentioned at the start I have 2 phenols that I am growing they are #5 and #7. The 2 have very different flower formations as you can see from the pix. I love them both. The first pix is #7 and the second #5. Having some issues uploading so will be back later.

and they just keep getting bigger and bigger and frosty, this is going to be a killer crop, 9 plants total. I just giggle when I go in there, sorry most of the picture angles are the same but theres just no room to go to take other pix, I'll get the ladder out for Sundays update, LOL got to get a ladder to take pix how many times you had to do that, Thanks for the great genetics SinCitySeeds and of course all the people who have helped me learn to grow.

I'm a little late on week 6 update, went into the room on Sunday to take pix and got lost, just got back, next time I'll pack a map and machete, lol well it all looks just marvelous, can't ask for anything better at this point. Two to three of these are going to be over 1 lb each, dam I was hoping for 2 lb each well maybe next time. As these are light feeders I did res changes last night and am running them at 500+- ppm. No boosters just food and cal-mag. I got the ladder out to take some of these shots, there is just no room around them, I crawl under to get to the res. You can see there is a little resin building on the ladies NIGHTFIRE OG, from SinCitySeeds, going to be just killer. I'll take some pix of some other strains I have running to show you the difference in trichome coverage.

We got 2 more weeks to go, maybe a bit more, this is where I act like an adult and don't go in there a chop a bud for a taste, tempted but no. We will all need to wait.......

here we are at week 7 and the frost just keeps building, you can see the two different phenols and the one I call #7 has more trichome production than #5. But they both smoke different so will need to test them again, my son likes the 5 over the 7 and I'm the opposite. The
trichromes are all cloudy with a couple brow showing so we have about 7 to 10 days left so I'll cut the food back from 500/560 ppm to 300 for the rest of the finish and will decrease the res temp to 65 and lower the water to 2/3 or about a 10" from the bottom of the net pot. That will help bring out any color and also make the plant fell like it that time to give it all up.

Week 8

This room has 9 plants in it.

It's update time on the farm, week 8 and still a few days to go yet. Nice and frosty the ladies are looking great and I can't wait. The NightFire OG are a pleasure to grow and they don't eat much. I have a bunch more NightFire OG ready to replace these girls. This is going to be an Epic harvest and the oil from the sugar leaf is going to be killer. I don't think I need to trim as well as my others as the leaf is incredible. :cool:

It is very hard to get into my garden, I have been buying seeds for 30 years and I have a collection of just under 100 different seeds in my fridge, the NightFire OG is my Number 1 lady by far. Only took 30 years to find her. lol

Will post the finish pix and dried bud in a week or so.

They sent me 8 seeds to do a test run about a year ago and that's where I found her.
