Nitrogen toxicity tmv or something else
The Soap. Going into week 4.
Genetic has been problematic but this has been increasing and now the top of some leaves are curling up on ends and changing color in some cases. Maybe extreme case of TMV? This is a commercial setting btw. Not a home grow. 78.7° 48.6%RH VPD 1.79 (kPa)

these clawed leaves with half light colored half normal, i see in my chems its genetic in my case but that patchy and shriveled leaves dont feel right. did you check for mites? under leaves the leaf stems etc with a microscope?

Looks like some kind of mosaic pathogen, if not TMV then a close cousin. It's like the plant equivalent of herpes. Harmless to you and your pets, highly infectious to other plants, produces ugly mosaic patterns on leaves and sometimes half yellow leaves, can stunt growth and bud development but safe to consume. If you have no other plants, may as well keep it and just disinfect everything after you harvest and throw the dirt away.

i have also had the genetic mutation look of tmv on a couple leaves. This looks to be more than the mutation.

The genetic mutation you speak of, it has probably lived in the family line a couple generations and just shows the symptoms when it's stressed. Kind of like people who were born being prone to cold sores. (Another herpes reference 😂)

Have not necessarily checked for mites yet because the discoloration on the tips of some of those is sporadic and not spreading (as of yet). I will go in with a microscope tomorrow and give them a look 👀 TY

Yeah, I’ve used the “cousin” example before to describe this at work 🤭 I will follow up in a few days with pics

could be HLVd
She will be sent for testing next week, I for sure think it’s a viroid, I keep getting told it’s a “good stressor” which it is not because even bud development is stunted in the lighter branches. Will follow up later on
