After saying goodbye to the plants that couldn't handle the hot soil, I pulled them, and called for help to my grow freinds. One of them had some tall clones that were starting to crowd his room, so I received 6 plants to help fill some empty spots! Looks like I have:
3 silver mountain. Bodhi
1 synergy bodhi
1 purple star. Bodhi
1 cakefighter. strayfox gardenz

My surviving plants are:
1 Harley m.d.
1 mooseknuckle jockey
1 quantum kush.
1 fire o.g.
1 (phone home x iranian) x road kill unicorn. Friends cross, then my cross.

Had to chop back the companion plants. They were taller than my new little girls! Lol

So here are some new pics. I have a fire o.g. that is really big! And it looks like I might have enough smoke to last me a year! First pic shows my uvb light setup. Four hours. 11 to 3.
Didn't take pic, but had to Lst, because some plants were too close. Curls the leaves. The fire o.g. went past the roof! Lol

This was two boys attached to a girl branch.
After they made some hairs shrink up, I chopped the boy branches and put them in an aloe branch. Next time I'll take pics. Forgot. Then put the boy branches in a paper wine bag, and put the bag around another girl I want to get pregnant. The aloe keeps the boys alive long enough to drop more pollen in the paper bag. Will take the bag off in three days. It seems to not take very long.
*IMPORTANT: after working with boys, wet down the girl branch you impregnated, and the surrounding ground under her. If not, wind blows leftover pollen to other plants.

Sorry left thread just hanging, but was invited to run a restaurant. While there I ran into some flooding due to rain, and because I don't have a drain dog yet. YET. Will be digging this drain very soon. I ended up with around three pounds. After giving some to buddy for giving me those teens last summer.
I drowned some worms....

This year I am getting into more of this knf, no till recipes, and soil layering. I raked up all the leaves from the sugar maple in our yard and and some cardboard on top of them. Will pick up another load of cow manure this year to fill in some space since it settled. Will mix in more rice hulls, and I think some humid acid this year. These podcasts are giving so much good info! This year, am doing some i.m.o. indigenous micro organisms. Found a recipe that is eeeeasy!
You cook rice, put it in pantyhose, bury them at least one foot deep, and pull them out 3 weeks later. After, will propogate more by letting them sit in water and molasses for a month. Then, pour it on! This will help all the companion plants move nutrients faster to the cannabis. So for sure doing another pound of cannaseur cover crops. And some others for oil production, and some for anti bug. And this year, feeding the worm towers a menu of sulfur rich plants. Am hoping they give back what they eat. Have never heard of this, but it's just an experiment. The cool thing is, they love watermelon, and that one has sulfur content also!

Wormfarmingsecrets.com just got confirmation. Worms do give you back what you feed them! So this sulfur diet will work! Pretty excited!!

Dug em up. Was so surprised at the different colors of all the colonies that were on the rice! Now they go into buckets, broken up. With one gallon molasses, and 4 gallons water. Now they sit and multiply for another three weeks. Then they can be poured on soil that has plants in it. You need to have plants already going, they need roots to cling on to, to create your fungal freeway. Now I'm on the clock to get the top layer of soil done, and companion plants sewed.

12 suckers! One for each plant! I was close to buying the product fish shit, but I like the closed loop system. This carp comes from the river that is in my back yard! Just gonna freeze them. Not going to make ffj. I feel like ffj is kinda too much if you have fish. They decompose and feed the plant anyway! It's just released slower. These fish ferments like fish shit, is immediately available. But I dont think I want available now. I want the calcium among other things available during flower. So I choose frozen fish buried under plants. I chose to freeze, because it keeps it from stinking. Otherwise animals will dig it up. So excited for this summer!

I started with two year old cow manure.
Then added worm towers. Fresh castings.
Then added cover crops. This awesome package of cover crops does all the work for you. All these are for growth. Then found more plants/herbs that help cannabis in a couple other ways. Some are for keeping bugs away. Some are for oil production. Some are to attract predators. So fun to see all these plants have purposes never knew before!View attachment 990124View attachment 990125View attachment 990130View attachment 990131View attachment 990132View attachment 990133View attachment 990134View attachment 990136View attachment 990140

I know this post is from a while back. Can you give any details to how your cover crop has held up over the past year. Did some seeds over winter beter than others? Are you regularly mowing or trimming between the rows? Has the hairy vetch climbed any plants? And do you test your soil?
