We are useing the quick drain rockwool. I never used so i can use some advice on freed time for ebb guys.Hydroton is at the bottem, around, and on top of the 6x6x6 cube. Right now its being flooded 2 hrs after light turns on one time a day. Light is on for 18hrs.

1st three days the Tall starbucks cups where sprayed. Now the cup is being cut back on RH% by VegWeek2 the cups will be off.

Got a heat mate for my hood for the veg room. IT WORKS PEOPLE. i am able to drop the hood an extra 20" day i got it. Blue hepa is air in from the bloom room, and also has a carbin filter on the other end witch is on the floor bringing in fresh cool air &extra RH from the bloom room.

This little Res room is else where. Never see light to heat up. The bloom res has a float on it so it tops off with me gone. Dosers check each res every 10 mins for me.

Have an NFT cycle timer rigged with 500gph pumps inside each drum ziped tied with a 1/2" to the top making an all nature free fall water fall drop! This helps to mix the cims and the pH when it gets dose. The 5G is my mix of 100% AN pH down and the mix is 3/4L and 4G RO H20. GrowMore has grew mold on me so... Dose time is set to 1sec

350w res heater set at 70F too. For air stones. They are set on a timer.15mins before and 15mins during flood. One pump drives all 4 air stones witch 2x in each drum. When the water Lowers the air Moves to the less pressure. So the more the buckets get feed. The more air gos to that drum. Keep in mind Farmers, Some air stones can take D.O. out rather then helping! why i like free fall.

2x 6" vortex are blowing in this bloom room filter threw a HEPA. Their is a carbin filter on the floor Leading up on the left to go to the veg room.

2ton AC mini split.
Fan can not move much so its on a NFT cycle timer to turn on and off to no wind burn that ONE spot. OH WELL at less the AC lines are not getting hit by the fan....

super pro setup man I'm thoroughly impressed! one question is how are you cooling your lights? you said that shield let you drop your lights by 20" and that seems odd to me for air cooled hoods as i never have to run even 20" away if i choose actually right now i have leafs on the top of one plant touching the glass with zero heat issues! that just made me wonder how well your ventilation of your hoods is. I'm running about 250cfm per magnum xxxl hood. how much did the ph doser set you back? i'd love to run one of those on mine that's so nice!

are you gonna upgrade and add more light? 24k btu is a ton of ac for 2k (or 3 if you have multi zone) I'm jealous i wish i had that kinda cooling haha but i would probably be enticed to add more light knowing i had the ac room for it already installed.

again man i'm so impressed with that setup you make me want to tear my room down and start over lol. hope you dont take the questions wrong I'm just curious you obviously know your stuff and have your room done right. also i LOVE the cups over the pots that's a great idea why didn't you show me that like a year ago?

Reason why I dont like the place is 6Ft room. My last round got light burn, past history.... Hood are 4" before they are maxed out to the roof and i try not to lift it till i see a light Spot...ALSO here is another one. My tap is 700ppms on a good day 550ppms. Spend over $12K on water treatment. Way a found out? Well spend $700 on merlin, then $300 on big blue, then Got RO100. Got it all T off and T back for drains on different Res. Test the water OMG. Went out and had to get some 4FT Carbins and sedelment with water softers to hold 250lbs of salt at a time. BLAH saw that the Merlin was not shutting off after filling the over size res. Had to spend $120 for electronic shut off kit. To get my RO100 to 70ppm? Then I still use a different RO that is 25ppms for cuts. Did i for get to say this place had a melted 100amp panel i had to rip and rebuild out? Now i got 200amp drops with kvar energy savers caps!Problems NONE STOP in this place. Next would be space and time...

The idea of me planning something like this on paper took a while! Good thing i use to ast work with wiring houses and factorys. Right now this lab a 100a @220v to its self. got a 4x1000 30a @220v light re-layer for the bloom room. and some 20a 220v socket for the veg. 2x 120V 20A sockets in each room also. Thinking about doing LED or T5 for side lighting. Saw some kessil led, (Soda can shape like) Well reading a magz review on them witch i am not done Yet.. Idea when i saw them was place one Unit in between 4 pots faceing UP. Time will tell what i might do for Extra light/side lighting. For now SPACE as you can all see is a problem.**NOTE: if i did not cut back on the munches, I never lost 60lb+ to go deleafing CRAWLING down each of the rows.

For Vents, Have 2x 6" vortex 452cfm~ blowing into the Bloom room filter with HEPAs.

Got the Carbin filter on the floor leading to the VegRoom witch is the hepa filter in the picture of my 1st post. For VegRoom. Well the 6"vortex with hepa comeing in from the Bloom room. Then Basic Carbin- filter to the 1000w- Pulled by the 6"vortex Then 6x6x6 Y.
Sure their is a SOME bends that will slow the CFM, and the hood done help BUT dont let the active air go to wast. I personally rather dbl, tripple up reason of useing the fan if i am spending money on it running... Its even used to move RH%, cool air, around to each room or out of the grow chamber.

The way the heat mate works is holding the heat in the lamps. Each hood is about 6ft~ of surface area of heat expose to the room! With that in mind Heat rise. The Carbin filter that are hanging high are takeing the heat and air out. Now that the fan is pulling the heat more of a direct way Vs trying to regain control of the radiant heat in the room. The lamp was able to drop more. If i can CHANGE something in the past. That would be 8" fans and MagXXXL.

When I 1st started doing dosers, it can add up. $500 for the PC unit that is your special timer for checking and doseing ph. Your Stock tank. 5G bucket $8. Stockfittings $40. Shutoff and fitting for hose hook up,HOMEDEPOT ASB PLASTIC ONLY (NOTE: acid will eat threw all types of metal, I was having leaks after owning everything NEW 1week old!) Gravity solenoid for maintains free $100. Then you GOT to have a way to mix all it up so an $XX depending how big your pump is. I HIGHLY do not recommend using there sample pot. I have the prob tied to the hose on the out side hanging 5" from the bottom of the Drum(not sitting in the stuff at the bottem). Floats are like $15-25. Floats are needed because the PC does not know how much water is in the Res. EX: Dont want it to OVER dose to hard with 20g left when you started from 100G. The NFT timer was something i place to save power and to make the extra bubble when the pump turns on to make that natural air drop. OVER ALL $750/res of one way of pH. Extra $150/res to rig pH up to each doser if i want to expand at that point.
Later on I will get into more of the tweaks of what I have done & going to be doing to make things less wasteful.

Well on week 3 found some larva in the bottom of the buckets. My guess is fungal gnats since i found a few on a trap. Went out and got gnature, zone and layed a pack of each type of color sticky trap. Also place some Azatrual and some new product call TaNLiN witch I hear works one time. Just pick some Gnatrue witch i place 250ml in each system witch i feel like was a wast but needs to get fix asap. Let it all run for 3 days. Then a flush and recim will be done. Have to try and find more gnatrue since its is now discontinued

Found out that the PPMs kept going up on the veg so i believe it got burnt a little bit @ 550ppm when i left it at 330ppm. Then i started to see that the PPMs was not enough so dump some GH FloraGro.

Lamps are maxed out to the roof. Start to use the net to hold it down rather let it go up.

Change it out and place few more additives

Bad update

Well the Fungal Gnat are laying eggs like crazy. Bump into tons of larva. I pick up some gognates and SNS203 and that seem to kill what was in the root zone in mins!

The Veg 4 weeks?room has look better. Not sure if its because of this rockwool stuff i never tryed or what. I try to feed it 2-3 times a day because they looked like they need to be feed and the buckets felt kinda light vs right after water... well i think i was wrong so i cut it back to 1 time a day

Like to get some input back about my veg room and this 6x6x6 QD rockwool. Right now i am not to impress with my 1st time in rockwool.... Hydroton was great with every 3 hrs of flood vs this.

Sup bud... Just read through all the details and I have a couple thoughts... Those 6" cubes are huge and shouldn't require that more than 1 flood per day at this stage of veg with those small clones. Even when they are larger and have a more developed root structure, I would imagine that 2 floods per day in veg may be more than sufficient. I'm also seeing moisture stress and possible VPD issues... How low is your RH? It should be around 50 to 60% RH in veg... On a side note, the bloom room is packed and you should consider some pruning to get sufficient airflow through your canopies... :thinking

Just a couple of questions for the girls in veg... What's the total PPM's at 0.5 conversion to EC, and the pH of your current mix? Also how many ml/gal of Cal Mag are you using? :wondering

The Veg RH is vary low. 20-30% with the amount of air blowing around. The EC, Not to sure only went off ppms.

I decided to change out the drum and place stright h2o and kinda cleaned it out a little from all the gognates and other pest control products.

place some GH FloraGrow to bring the PPM up to 450ppm? ish. The drums have a auto dosers. Veg is set at 5.8 but it hits it down to 5.7-5.8. I sometimes stick the pen in the Cap controller and see 6.3 drain back few days ago.

I check the drum that has is on flush. 130ppm 2.4-3.3uS 5.8pH.

Change my mind when i woke up today. all the stems are perp, even the fans leaves are turning perp and thing just simply look to locked up. So i am cleaning up and will be restarting some new cuts in a few days. Going to be trying some OG Kush for for the 1st time for a longtime. My past history with it was just 1 bucket in ebb tray.

Clip&Clean Update

At 8 1/2 weeks i place it on a h20 flush. With lights on for 24. Went around and clip all leaves with out any THC. 10 days pass then the it was time ti clip!.:harvest:

Moving to the Veg 7th week.
Just had a pump failure on the Drain for 1 day only. They are little limp however not the 1st time this happen.:worried Give them 2 days and things be all good. Just snag it from the other room it was just in.

I also place 40mil nematodes by hand over each bucket. Hear they eat bad bugs. Half sound stay in the bucket since i top fed. Did a quick Flush because I do not trust GoGnates. SNS203 i would have just gave it 2 days because it organic. These special bugs will do the trick!:fixed:

These OG Kush are going to be SO BIG by the time i flip them.:confused0059: The 1st post i did was just day 1 in this lab! In case No one saw. I moved the Veg to where the Bloom room was. Turn the light back down to 18 on vs 24..... 24 was use to flip them back to veg during the 3 1/2 days of no power i had. Thing happen....

Got the Tall blue with a Carbon and Sediment.

T off to an RO100 witch go to another Lab i just started and any floats to top All water reservoir or Hydro Res.

Then The other way of the T is to another RO700 high flow. This unit has Electronic Shut off that turn the water feed In to the unit. Reason why the Feed to the RO700 has to be turn off, is because when all float gets filled..... NOW all the water gos to the wast with out your control! the Fix:shake

Place in line a Electronic float witch get hit before the Safety normal Float valve. A ECOPLUS1500 with all 3/4" black. Their is a 90 anti sif like the CAP EBB system that was Custom Drilled.
