So I have a bunch of seeds a friend gave me. How many do you grow to insure a female? Or perhaps non feminized seeds are what people look for to get males to cross breed?

So I have a bunch of seeds a friend gave me. How many do you grow to insure a female? Or perhaps non feminized seeds are what people look for to get males to cross breed?

I would expect 50/50 male to female, however to insure a female id do a minimum of 3 to expect one female. Still not a guarantee but would at least be the minimum I’d start with. If those seeds are from a hermie they likely all will be female, however would carry that herm trait so would be likely to turn herm, either way expect 50/50 male-female or female- herm
