Would this fix not having hps/mh light? https://www.ebay.com/itm/Horticultu...rowing-/121737912015?var=&hash=item61f5c61f60

Frankster how many fans should I get? My tent has drawstrings to wrap around the fans, if they are smaller than the hole I guess. There's 5 large fan vent holes but 2 of them are up against the wall. I can pull it out a bit. would 1 intake fan and 1 outtake fan be too little?

Where are you located? I might have a good spare fan for you that I no longer use. I didn't realize your using What size are you tent holes (across) But you need a little more that what I posted there for that...

Also, do your homework on the fan you need, especially the fps displacement, because those types of fans have to work at a set speed to be efficient, so they put out one volume, you want to be above that, but not by much, because excessive cooling on the light fixture can cause loss of efficiency on the light itself, so match them correctly.

That hood size should be rated for output, with the appropriate (whats the hood size?) and how many fps (displacement) do you need for that light? Google it, if nothing else.

What I meant to say is when buying and led light in the fine print it tells you what that led light is compared to in watts vs HPS/MH.

This is something I was looking into.
Vivosun on Amazon has pretty decent looking full set ups

Check this out at Amazon.ca
LED Grow Light, Spider Farmer SF-1000 Plant Grow Lights with Samsung Chips & Mean Well Driver, Newest Plant Growing Lamps Full Spectrum 3000K 5000K 660nm 760nm IR Grow Lights for Indoor Plants Veg Flower

I would also think about ventilation for the area, keep that in mind. There are some inexpensive ones that should do fine, I would look at your tent and see what size your vent holes are, and get the appropriate size.

That is a duct booster fan. Designed to help push already moving air along long duct runs. Doesnt move much air on its own.

What is needed for exhausting tents or rooms is an inline fan.

Yea, I thought he was running LEDS at the time. I posted a followup., thanks

Yes this is proper.

Tents are pretty simple to set up, however that Chinese light will probably be a good veg light but there not so good at flowering, i had a mars light and it sucked i ended up giveing it away, what you need is a cob light ( chip on board) after i dumped my mars light i bought a 600w 2 cycle viperspecta reflector this is a very good veg light surprisingly but for flowering i bought a California light works bloom booster, best 500 someodd bucks i spent, im not trying to knock your light but you get what you pay for and led aint cheap, i bought my tent from home depo hydro crunch much better than i expected, anyway i wish you all the luck in the world.

I like the cobs alright, but they tend to run a bit hotter than others IMO. I've had them burn out prematurely.

I think the Chinese lights get bunched into one lump, and they certainly are more of a mixed bunch, some are better than others. I've bought dozens of LED's of various brands including some expensive Black Dogs and sunshine systems gro panel pro. (currently sitting in a box). I'll put them up against my BestVA's 4000's anyday. These are simply great Chinese lights.

I think the 10w double diodes work best in Chinese equipment (draws 1.6 actual watt each) But the samsung diodes are more efficient, no doubt.

UV and IR, it's covers the spectrum well. at 590 watts (measured on the meter) it puts out as much light as my double ended HPS running 1200W (without all the associated cooling fans, hoods and other equipment).
