Fun project I'm working on, should be a good one. Selected a nice Thai dominant male to pollinate my old NL5 cut.

Here they are, 35 days old

Everything is looking great

Got a couple with some minor variegation going on.

Working through 5 males from a few packs to see what we find. Being sure to open pollinate all phenos for preservation, but mainly focusing on selective pollinations with our perceived favorites.

Front and center male is same as purple male pictured above, the preferred selection, with predominantly Thai traits

Great structure, branching, aromas and some thrip damage just to annoy me.

All 8 seem to be destroyer dominant hybrids. No single plant leans more toward either side of the program

Yes indeed, great growth and structure. It's hard to pick a favorite, but NL5 is definitely top 3

I rubbed some resin for the first time today, jumping out hard is a very sweet bubblegum/cherry/7-up aroma from 4/8 of these ladies, but none more pronounced than from this mama here.

I'm really excited now! It's like the missing link chemotype between Durban Poison and Amnesia Haze and Cherry Diesel. Can't wait to see how they progress. At this point the pictured plant is the clear favorite, but there's still plenty of bloom time ahead of me before I make that call

Just crossing the half way mark. I've never grown a more uniform F1 generation, especially considering how different the lines are genetically. One plant takes more after mother NL5 than the others, but the rest are a strong hybrid mix of both parents

Kind of forgot I started this thread...

These plants came out better than I could have expected. From 12 plants I got 8 females, 4 of which I’m running again to select the best.

Not to be immodest- but damn this is some fine herb! Fucked around and recreated NL5Haze.
