Yo Dude Hippy NY! Am using plain old on sale/ expired or soon to be expired milk. No religion about low fat or no fat or soy. Reduced price and Mebbe smells like milk but after absorbed by the soil ni smell....View attachment 1202228

I would be concerned about excessive fats or carbs, small amount of carbs is fine; if it's mostly casein; your probably just fine. My biggest concern would be fat content.


Are you doing the milk by foliar? Or feeding in the soil? I get the impression the proteins; (casein) which is a form of phosphoprotein is probably great. But again, fat is the main concern here. Try to eliminate any fat; minimize carbs.

Just adding to the water....not too much..can switch to no fat only....

5 gallon pot-up completed last night--doesnt look too shocked. The roots looked nice and will appreciate xtra room to grow. Will water the outsiders with coconut water diluted b4 their story and bedtime. 1 autoflower looks to be finishing...70 days so far into the grow.

trying to stay on top of the bugs -- lost 2 outside, white roots. I raised some of the plants up toward the sun, just not getting enough so low to the ground.

Day 2 with suplemental UVB and saw brown and purple colors emerge. Still see some clear and milky trichs so will press on. I of the two other plants had some tip burn so I raised the submarine up 4". I will work on the timer and go for more frequent but shorter exposures.

black hood pulled off to reveal some nice purple coloring after 2 dark days. Both other plants have 2-3 weeks to go. Thinking lower the temps....As to the question of UVB light on this grow....anyone's guess is also correct...bugs seem to have let up....

23 daytime 20 at night, doublepane window in room. Spirulina feeding for both plants, but they didnt want to be drenched. Very tight looking @BudGoodman style buds. Fresh young coconut juice & vitamin UVB. Week 9 and increase UVB beyond 4 hours per day is the question.

Added second Haefle de-humidifier this am. Hoping to bring humidity down. Cleaned air con unit -- filter barely dusty at all. Read @moered long post and will keep time at 4 hours...What I am seeing is more brown pistils..trichomes still clear on both.

Darkness time for these two beautiful gals following exactly 10 days of UVB light 4 hours daily. During that time a great amount of trichomes spilled sugar powder on the leaves. Tonight down to 20 degrees 50% rh, and I defoliated them also thinking it will help them dry. Then will cut and hang in the blue 4 stack bug proof hanger. You can be the judge and see what appears apres le noir.

This grow & room is one of the most unique I have ever seen. My mentor can quickly get the small seedlings to grow bigger quicker than I. He's uses outdoor sunlight during his grow as well. Thanks for the views,Cheers SS

Appreciate the kind words SSgrower. I think the UVB light made a big difference here and there was a lot of sugar on the leaves. The whole 'grow room' is designed to be taken apart in 5 minutes if necessary especially if my wife comes after me with a rolling pin.

After 10 days in brown paper bags it is jar time for the buds. 99 grams all told, very nice aromas. Thanks to everyone who stopped to say 'high' to the gardener.

Lessons learned:

1) Act quicker to remedy problem situations
2) Plants aren't getting full darkness in the grow area at night and was worse for the outdoor plants
3) 2 months veg time means smaller yield than 3 months veg time
4) Must oxygenate the H20 before feeding the plant
5) UV light contributed to 0 mold or powdery mildew and more 'sugar' in the plant than previous grows
6) Longer dark period at grow's end produced more 'orange' and golden leaves

Next grow has different Idea because it emphasizes total darkness. Same old set up but I've gone total blackout mode on the windows using multiple layers of window tint. Now it is really dark.

Question: How long should the UVB light run in the beginning vegetative phase ? I'm thinking some small amount (5-10 minutes) to keep the mold and mildew away. Temperature 24 in the day 23 at night. 2 humidifiers and fan and AC.

Anyone have experience with an aquarium pump to oxygenate water for weed growers? About 2 weeks in the grow trying to keep things going. Just added the 'redneck' tent teatment and right away the plants looked better. They are 3 year old Off face seeds from Exotic Genetics which I also used in the last grow.

chugging along week 6 of veg....feeding club soda and nitro based fert....I like seeing the plants closer to eye level...

Update: About 1 week until flip to flower. Have topped 3 times already. Told the plants they had to be 12" tall before they get flipped. Last night fed with spirulina, nitrogen and some epsom and much perkier this am. Guessing transplant then darkness then flip?

Now 1 week from flip, LST in place First application of terp tea brought about 50 flys alongside. Started the Pro Crop 1 spraying to lock the barn door after the horse escaped. Watered 1 liter then went swimming then another liter...Trying to be sloe
