Nutes

What are the essential nutes for a closet grow? I have 40 day old auto fems , 1 in Happy Frog potting soil and one in Natural Organics Coco. I haven't done a thing but water them. They are starting to smell. Any pointers appreciated. And I guess it is ready for scrog.
