I remember some seeds from my dad's stashes well before even decriminalization. Some of the resulting plants had a maroon almost bluish red without looking purple leaves.

All the others were runts and I didn't want to waste any time with them. They were really lagging. The shorter plant on the left was one that I almost considered being a runt but wasn't. So I did fish through the plants before selecting them. @defective thanks brother, I really appreciate that! This is a very cool thing that you’re doing. Preserve the landraces, especially the Mexican sativas. What is your reason for growing seeds May I ask? Is it your own supply or some other purpose.?
Woot woot! Thanks man, I found those little 100 watt lights on amazon for 40 bucks a piece. They work great for seedlings and smaller plants, but I did finish out a seeded 6 ft tall limon verde plant underneath them.
Thanks man That’s great I’m interested in trying out some of the more exotic landrace cultivars on my next grow. Specifically a real old fashioned Thai and a Malawi or Congo. Maybe a real Panama Red if I can find one. I’d love to do what you’re doing and do some selective breeding but that might be a little ambitious at this point. I’ll be following along to see how it goes

I love makin seeds…I’ve got 6 different plants outside and they all got a 2nd dusting on their designated branch this morning.
I like a variety so…I got some blue dream regs (sc cut bx)…had a really fruity stem rub male dropping pollen 2 weeks before anything started to flower so I collected…dusted a blue dream female, trop cherry x PLCG, LA confidential, apples n bananas x wedding cake, Himalayan indica x p98 bubba, thin mint S1

Yes sir! Must be the Oaxacan and Malawi side of the genetics shinning through. They are super easy to grow. I'm using 2 gallons of water between the 5 of them every 2 days now.
