Well said cort, let's see if we can keep the peace here. Have watched these political arguments on here for a couple of years now and they all end up with members getting pissed. All politicians are for their political gain and all we can do is sit and watch.

First going back our last three presidents have lied and lied and lied thats what has me so pissed not if they reb or dem its the lieing the two for Obama have lord under other that is a crime Obama just hasn't been dragged into court yet but he has lied on documents that we know for fact this lieing has got to stop u don't want to tell the people something cuz it affects national securty fine just say I can't talk about it but stop lieing

New news Obama had a meeting with head of irs the day before these practices were put in place there is a growing pile of evidence that Obama did know what was going on also shortly after it was put in place head of irs recieved a massive bonus and more evidence has come to light that he was fully aware of pending attack in bengazi cbs releases new evidence of these actions and it appears he was also aware of the ap job of illegal wire taps and stealing info if it walks like a duck and quacks like a duck its a duck also you should see homelands new directive all ex military and tea party members need to b screened to c if they are terrorists and since homeland securty reports directly to the white house not congress one can surmise where that order came from

He knew! Even if somehow he didn't it happened on his watch. HE IS RESPONSIBLE. Dosen't matter will just be swept under the carpet. Nixon was impeached for a lot less. Bottom line he is better at playing the game than the current Republican regime. Beats them to the punch at every aspect of the game. Right now the Dems are frankly better at playing the game of politics. Obama and his advisors are good at what they do. Hate it but simply have to live with it.

There is not right or left anymore....there are just the CORPORATIONS running things. Everyone wants to blame BUSH for why we are over in Iraq and Afghanistan. Do some research people. Thats all a sham. Look back and see that Clinton struck first....but no one was paying attention because there was a scandal going on. Not to mention the fact that our troops in Afghanistan are GUARDING crops of Poppies. Why you may ask....well I'm pretty sure it has something to do with the US owing China a fuckton of money....and China is the one producing all the Poppy fields there. Al-Quaeda had all but eliminated Poppy production......until the US stepped in.

Not sure how many punk rockers are out there....but The Circle Jerks did a song back in 83 about Afghanistan becoming the next Veitnam.

THE WORLD IS FUCKED RIGHT NOW.....and it's just gonna get worse.

I'm not a right or left guy.....I never have been. I just call Bullshit when I see it.....and frankly the last few terms of Presidency get worse and worse. This country is NOT on a good path.

Obama supporters.....explain THESE things to me.

1. Obama campaigned saying GMO's WOULD be labelled if he took office. Now he signs a bill protecting Monsanto and hires their head lobbyist as head of the FDA.

2. Drone Strikes......more innocent women and children are killed everyday......this is a PEACEFUL THING?!?!

3. NDAA......the US military can now enter your home and cart you off to a detainment facility without ever standing trial. They can hold you INDEFINITELY.

I could go on and on......but the truth is....politicians are puppets. The Benghazi thing has me sick to my stomach. These were the guys who supposedly killed Osama....coincidence? Hell there are a myriad of scandals going down right now. AP wiretaps....IRS targeting political groups.....Boston. Boston turned into MARTIAL LAW. Funny how FEMA was doing a bombing exercise when it went down. Sounds just like the exercises that were going down on 9/11.


We are being led to the slaughter and some of us will not go peacefully.

I served in the United States Marine Corps, and I a proud to call the United States my home.....however I see TYRANNY and I believe it is my patriotic duty to stand up and say something.

I am MAD as hell at the political system....and HOPE LIKE HELL that enough people WAKE UP and start to fight these bastards. We way outnumber them.

Seems like more and more are starting to see the truth. To make a quote from the ghetto... Hate the game, not the players.

I have been thinking about this a bit lately and seeing a new Democrat elected to the house for my area suddenly become the #1 money raiser for his reelection fund 6 months into his first 2 year term set off a bell in my head. Who is giving a rookie congressman so much money and why?

Starting to think we need a clean sweep so the new guys dont get caught up in the same old game.

I agree with everything you say except this^^^^. The Taliban had wiped out poppy production.

Because Republicans openly admitted to cuttoff American investments anywhere they could they've invested overseas instead of America.

I'm not going to go super hard on this one. I've done enough politifacting on THCFarmer to know that it's not really worth it.

I happen to think that there is a difference between right and left, but that doesn't necessarily mean either side is perfect. They're both shitty for their own reasons, if that's what you all mean by saying they're the same then I sort of agree.

As for the IRS story, after a few more days of reporting on it--it really looks like there isn't going to be any line that gets drawn to the president from it. Heads are going to roll but one of em aint gonna be his.

As for the Benghazi shit...come on. Just let it go guys. If we're going to be pissed about people not predicting terrorist attacks before they happen with ample warning about them we should probably draw and quarter Bush.

The AP scandal is only a scandal because it happened to the press and they're mad about it.

I happen to think the AP scandal is the worst of the three even though it happens to be entirely legal. I think that what happened is totally unconstitutional. What I'll say is that most right wingers LOVED the policy that made it legal when Bush was the one driving the boat. The patriot act made it easier for the president to not trust America's citizens. The conservatives, and the press, both failed to realize that a DIFFERENT president might come along at a later time and choose not to trust them.

The Patriot act needs to be done away with, and if anything comes from this shitstorm I hope it's that--but I'm not holding my breath.

Small note about the IRS scandal. The funniest part of the whole thing: There is no need for the 501(c)(4)'s in question to apply for tax exempt status. It is not a requirement in order to retain the status. The IRS must, in effect, prove that you are not tax exempt--not the other way around.

Which is to say that all of the groups who were subjected to extra questions and wait times (still wrong obviously) as a result of their political leanings were not required to go through that process in the first place.

Oh bureaucracy, how I love thee--lol.
