OG Raskal V Tahoe V Larry V Alien

Hey there everyone. I'm another stoner with a great appreciation of Raskal's programs.

I got my hands on a few packages of the magical beans about half a year ago. I bought Alien OG, Tahoe OG, Larry OG and some Raskal OG. Ten seeds each from sow amazing.

I'm growing out the tahoe, larry and raskal right now as i write this letter.
I'm growing in soil and i have not make a single mistake. So they look fantastic.
I've pulled clones from half of them. 19 of them out of 30 were females.

The biggest male was a raskal, so i grabbed clone of that guy too.

The problem i have is, they all look freaking amazing. Some are better than others but nearly all look really frosty. I guess you call that "fire". Am i right? But I have to say, the tahoes might take the cake here. The tahoes are all perfectly frosty. I would say the tahoes are most consistently frosty white silvery. They look incredible.

I took the male and pollinated a few lower buds on my top five females so i should get some beans.

I'm at day 55 right now. My plants are fully organic.

Any suggestions on how to pick a favorite, "phenome"?

i have 9 aliens at the seedling stage right now.

and how do i get the white fire strain? that one actually does look slightly more frosty than the tahoes. those little hoes.

Welcome to the Farm testone. The first thing that jumps at me with your post is your reliance on the visual resin as an indication of quality. Not that that is your only concern. Amount of visual resin doesn't always mean potent bud, though it usually ends up that way, so visual triches won't be an accurate enough test for a keeper. I would clone everything at least twice,and once you know that you have roots on those clones flower out the donor plants. This way you can take if from start to finish and have an idea if they are what you are into, as far as smoke, structure,clonability,potency, or whatever you are looking for in a strain. Some strains seem to do better after you run them a few times and dial them in. I have a thread with some Alien OGs if your interested. Alien OG is a Tahoe OG female crossed to an Alien Kush(alien dom)male. So if you like the Tahoe chances are you'll like the Alien OG. I'm not sure since I never grew/smoked the Raskal but I'm sure its fire. Hold on to that male too, if he proves worth of course. Pictures will help us help you lol Have a great stay on the Farm!

I just ordered tahoe OG like 1 hour ago. I am stoked to pop them and they are not even here yet and you singing their praised is not helping haha. I am thinking of starting a breeding room to experiment a bit but I cant really afford it atm. Not to hijack the thread but does anyone know of a good book that explains the ins and outs of breeding? Also, like everyone else said post some pics man!

P.S. I too am in search of the WIFI! It just seems like as soon as Raskal has a drop his shit is sold out. Oh well I guess Ill just stay persistant.

i may be wrong but im rpetty sure raskal didnt make those crosses and that cali connection did. the fire og cut raskal had was renamed to raskal og cuz there were to many "fire" cuts floating around.

i was dissapointed with everything i got from cali connection, which is what beans you have. if you can get OGR gear, then thats the way to go IMO. eveything ive popped from OGR has been amazing. i ran out of room in my clone room and have lost some amazing clones simply because the amount of great plants found in OGRs beans
ive done white bubba, urkle, kksc, alien fire, kksc, bubba, kksc bubba that i can think of off the top of my head. all were great but the white bubbas and the alien kksc kill it.

hello brother farmers. sorry for the late response. i was waiting for my thread to be approved and then i stopped checking on it. and now, here it is.

i tossed my OGR male after using it on a few of my favorite phenos. i didn't want it around potentially corrupting my crop. i have limited space here.

i realize resin concentration alone is not the best way to determine the desirability of a "pheno". im putting pheno in quotes here because i am unsure if that is the correct word to use. but i think we all know what i mean when i say pheno. and there are quite a few varieties in the three packs of seeds i grabbed from cali connection.

i cloned half of my females. but i cloned them when they were two weeks into flowering cycle and it has taken forever for them to est. roots and get growing in veg again. maybe a month or 1.5 months. it's crazy slow. and the success rate was 50%-60%. and i hate cloning in rockwool and plan to go back to cloning in 50/50 perlite/vermic next time i clone.

but at this stage. how else am i going to judge. I look at branch structure, bud structure, bud size, bud density and the big one, resin concentration. there are a few other things to look for. i know, smoke report! but i don't smoke the weed right now! ha! im drug free mofo. but im an LSD warrior, perma trippin' so being high or not is a bit fuzzy for me.

my understanding is that OG Raskal made the seeds that are sold under the name cali connection and via the sit sow amazing. is this incorrect? regardless, like i said the beans are magic mothers. i'm going to take pics tonight to support all the words i am writing. hopefully you all will like what you see. im pretty damn proud. im very proud. i know these buds are going to be top quality or probably AA+. Is AAA+ the highest we are grading a bud?

im going to upload pics in a couple of hours. yeah, tahoes are fucking amazing! super pretty and trich covered. slightly more tricks per part than the others. then i look at the larry and ogr and the ones that have the same density of trich covering are nice too. there are also a few varieties in the branch structures and shades of green in the plants grown from the LArry, OGR, and tahoe seeds im involved with.

im really hoping i get seeds from my first try in pollinating females. if not, i'm going to buy the wifi. if the wifi actually has more trichs than some of my whitest og's i'd be surprised. i have a few that closing in on white buds. it's fucking rad dudes.

i always thought that the "white" og's were a result of mixing the og with white widow or white rhino? is this correct? it's a great idea. the two best strains of all time mixed.

dudes, i hope i get 100 seeds. that would be sick. if i get 100 seeds i will select phenos and breed them again.

lastly, it seems like not all wifi phenos are very good. it was that lucky #3 that was a notch up from the best OGR. but i'd have to see a side by side comparison for reasons stated above. my shit is "fire" and kind of white so....
so im not sure that the white fire is really the way to go. i have major bomba right now my friends.

i want to know about stressing plants for resin with light bursts. i saw a picture of a bud that was pure white. i want to make some of that shit. plants were hit with 5x the lumens put out by the sun. the resin coating was true white. you couldn't see the leaves or calyxes or hairs under the resin.

honestly, it look pretty good and thats what my cc stuff did...i was disappointed. compared to ANYTHING ive had from OGR, its disappointing. the wait, the price, the quality compared to OGR is not even close IMO.

i paid 600 for the white bubbas and i honestly couldnt be happier...


and OG raskal is OG raskal....cali connection is swerve. Raskal's OG is from swerves og/affie male crossed with raskals fire OG. the affie seems to be the most dom in all of the cc gear ive ran with that cross. all the genetics you have are from swerve and have nothing to do with OGR....


the white is a cut from krome, 3 way unknown cross. when you get anything from OGR that is crossed with the white, you will know why i say im disappointed with cc gear....and the hermy/auto flower issue isnt cool either....

WAIT: the wait was 1 month for me. no prob for me really.

PRICE: the price is 100 to 160 per pack of ten seeds. that's cheap in comparison to $600 per pack. if $600 is how much you paid. ???

is this pheno in the pic finished, ready to harvest? the yellow leaves indicate it might be ready. yes, that looks more white than my whitest one.

i have a small bud that is crazy frosty maybe not that much though, but close. hmmm, not 100% not sure. but yeah, it seems like your stuff is slightly better. im going to go crawl into my grow cab now and poison myself.:confused0054:
