Oh the smells!!! My first Bufda

Well, now I know what they mean when they say blueberry smells like blueberries or what earthy or musky means when they talk about marijuana. I have smelled a million buds. I have smelled homegrown on the plant and dried/cured. But I never smelled what I smell this grow! This is my 3rd successful outdoor grow! I have 10 outdoor autos that I'm getting ready to harvest. Last night I was moving them to the garage to sleep their last slumber and I decided to check my trichs one more time. So I sat there, blazing midday sun, for about an hour and a half! I got stuck. I didn't realize how much time had passed, I had planned on just a few minutes b4 I moved each one. I got fascinated by the smells. Each plant smelling ONLY like its sister, and they all smelled identical by strain! So, that's not the coolest part......I was SOOOOO high. I got absorbed I'm my garden. When I finally got up to move them, I lost my balance and fell over into the grass. I laid there and giggled and when I opened my eyes I was looking up at the clouds and I decided to just lay there and make sense of the puffy shapes like I was 5. My mother comes over and couldn't find me and calls me. I direct her to come out back. And there I was...laying down in the lawn. Now, that's not really surprising, but I lost my balance AGAIN getting up. I didn't fall, but i was HIGH!!!! My eyes were so dry and my mouth was super cottony. I was laying down bc I felt way too weird. Well...I started laughing. Uncontrollable. Anything I thought made me laugh. I tried to clear my mind out, but I just kept laughing. I slowly giggled down and I noticed that I felt like I was sinking into the couch, it enveloped me and I fell asleep. It was almost like that countdown with anesthesia feeling. I woke up a half hour or so later and I was relaxed, not high.

I had no idea I could/ would end up that baked by hanging around my plants! I also can now pinpoint aroma characteristics, it was a really cool experience unlike anything I've ever encountered! Happy Budsday to me!!!!!

If u have weed that gets you high from the smell I be wanting some but in all seriousness I can understand losing track of time just smelling the different terpenes if different plants though

I didn't think that could happen, not like that!!! I've heard of contact high, but that's crazy, never happened to me and I've been contacting weed my whole life! You can share some smoke....I'm in NY!! I quick dried some fluff and hit the bong last night, and I do have to say, it wasn't even that harsh! Going it will be a good one!

You are right. Each strain of marijuana is unique and smells differently. Some things like Blueberry or Durban Poison or Big Bud are famous for their distinct scent. Candy" has a sick smell that first smells like vomit and garlic. Yuck. But then after a second sniff, it's got a rotten melon scent. Cantaloupe, sickly sweet and earthy. Critical Purple Kush has a chemical smell, with earthy and musky deep inhale. Blueberry smells sweet, fruity and musky. Northern Lights has a light, clean, sweet fume smell. Love it! Wonder how they will hold to drying and curing!

Thanx for the offer of shared smoke but I live all the way down the bottom of Aus good luck with your grow though

I have a super plant..Lavender Dog , from Big Buddy Seeds…smells nasty..really dank , almost rotten socks smell not good about week 7 of an 11 week bloom.
When harvested totally different..really smooth smoke and nice smoke smell in the room plus heavy hitter. Yeah, can’t really judge from smell while in bloom.
