I’m new to growing so this setup is to see if I get anything to grow. 2x2x4. Cheap Amazon light, using miracle grow rose fertilizer, with seeds from unknown strain, seeds I had saved. I know this is far from the ideal setup but wanted to see if i could get to flower. Plants have been growing for 4 weeks and not sure when I can put them to flower. I did need to top the taller one.

There is no question of you getting to flower. You can just turn the light cycle to 12/12 and wait for a week or so and you'll know if its a female or male.
However, You've setup your self for failure with that miracle grow. So, i wouldn't suggest going into flower cycle until you have changed the soil completely.
we can talk about nutrients, lights and everything else after that

So do you mean break it down to the roots? What do you recommend for soil? It just in a potting mix now. I never expected to get to this point.

@Jjjmm56 when you keep making new posts than things get messy. Just keep your questions here so ppl can join and can read what you are going through

i wouldn't use miracle grow. It has a slow release fertilizer which will create nothing but headache problems.

agree with @PK1 - please please please use one thread!!! this is the third ive seen over the same stuff!

he is also right about the miracle grow, stay away.

go to the box store and buy some potting soil. or, and this is just what i started with and it worked well and was easy enough, get a bag of cocoloco and a bag of purplecow indicanja. both reasonably priced.

fill bottom 1/3 with purplecow, and the other 2/3 with the cocoloco. the cocoloco doesnt have any real food in it but the supersoil beneath has enough for most grows.

with that you dont need any ferts or additional gunk and you wont have any of the over/under feeding situations.

when you transplant, go to a bag pot, under 10 bucks on amazon for several bags

get a size bigger pot, and repot (you can shake off some of the old dirt, but dont go nuts and disturb her roots too much. if you have to really disturb her root system let me know, there are ways to not hurt her so much.

another note...

take about 3-5 clones from each. before the flip. if something goes tits up you have a backup plan.

to clone, grab a cup of water and stick them in it. take off all but 4 leaves at the top. change the water every 3rd day. put the cup of water on your desk under a lamp. a regular or not direct light is all it needs, but it needs over 12 hours, more like 15-18. you will see roots in a little while

Nuts one plant left and I’m worried if that ones going to make it.

Week 9 of flower I’m getting spots on the upper leafs. I’ve been flushing with water at 6-6.5 ph for 1 week.

Well I’m going to guess this is light burn because my lower flowers seem fine.

Naah, its a combination of chlorosis and overwatering. Shes finishing, those spotted leaves will yellow and die. I just pinch them off. Wait til bottom of the soil is dry, paper towel in a drain hole should tell ya when. Think i read you are at 80° and 80%rH which is off the vpd chart. The rose food isn’t the best choice but better than nothing.
