okay geniuses here's 1 for you

seen a 1/8th inch lime green bug one a leaf today and panicked and squished it. hindsight i should have taken a picture.
didn't see any wings and just looked like a tiny worm. seen a 2nd one and was going to take a pick but it either jumped really fast or got blown away from the fan, which is on low.
i did catch a caterpillar on a plant a week ago and wondering if these are larvae or something.
any ideas?
pistils are just starting to show on autos in promix hp.
only a couple leaves here and there look like this. i have been squishing some small brown bugs when i see them, only a couple a day.

No caterpillars don’t Don’t lay eggs! But if you’re indoors, you better get a handle on it whatever it is! If you’re outdoors, it’s part of the game! Caterpillars do most of their damage by burrowing into buds! Their mommies lay the eggs that turn into caterpillars!
