I am learning new tricks myself, sometimes it can be a combination of things that turn things around. Some strains you can pelt them with light, some strains you cant. I am finding with my LED that I have to raise the intensity very slowly, I do it once per week now. I can go from 50% to 55% or to 60%, but any kind of jump above 10% and my plants would get stressed out.

LED lights can be tricky to figure out, still figuring them out myself. I have 2 Spiderfarmers, but I used to use HPS full spectrum globes and I had never dealt with light stress before. I only ever dealt with heat stress haha.

Remember that you have exactly 1/2 the sq footage as my tent, and my one plant is handling 645 100 % just fine. So, even if you were at 300 you wouldn't be half of mine.
Question ! Would heat and dry humidity kill mold ?
I would think that, depending on the temperature, heat and dry humidity would kill just about anything that needs water. I would also think that your plant is in far better health as well. Everything in the tent was fine for 6 weeks and then I had a nute lock out. Again something happened at 9 weeks. I'm a novice, a dummy, Cannabis grower in training and I'm trying. I don't intend to add more lighting at this time. My budget on this project is fixed and not flexible at all. I bought the best I could afford. In addition I don't think I would be able to fit another light in the tent. This one is 26" long and 13" wide along with all the other stuff hanging it would be difficult at best.

There is a lot of tricky stuff to figure out, lol. The LED light is just one of a myriad things for me. But I'm not giving up on my plants just yet.

The best way to work when jumping into it is to buy things as you require them. Right now I don't believe light is your limiting factor you did good by sticking to your budget! Why? Because I know a guy who spent 1K on a setup, used it for 2 cycles, got bored when he hit his first problem then sold it for 400 dollars to some lucky sonofagun who got one HELL of a deal. So until your plants are actually like "WE NEED MORE LIGHT" I say stick with what you got, you're doing well my friend .

I hear you, for me its LEDs and the living soil I am growing in, those 2 things are my battle ground haha. I have grown more than enough to have the basics and more, but I am still an apprentice with soil. It has been difficult for me to learn new things as well but I am not giving up either I am with you on that one too haha.

I think you did right by turning down the light. All things considered it's not rot nor mold like someone mentioned. It's just the tight area and fresh air not getting to the pots. Your real close to harvest, don't worry just allow air flow to get to those fabric pots. I personally would not feed anymore if those were mine. Next grow you do in the tent try to not allow plants to go longer than 6wk veg flip them earlier that's what i do if i grow 3 photos in 3gal fabric pots. I know by the way mine have grown and those plants look like grows i've had. My buds turned out fine and yours will too.

I said it might be mold or rot. I didn't say it was ! And, for you to dismiss that, like it's not even possible is ridiculous. I give up on that topic. You guys and girls solve his problem. And, why a 6 week veg ?! I do almost 8 weeks, with excellent results. Do you see anything wrong with this plant ?!

I didn't mention all the changes I made. One not mention was the 12v fans I put on the lower vents to push cooler air in the bottom of the tent which supplies fresh air to the pots and up through the plants. OK I'm going to sound real stupid here, how do you veg flip them in 6 weeks? They are bigger then I expected. I didn't train them as I was to timid to do so. Looks like if had they would be all over each other. I sure hope you are right about the buds. Thank you for your advice and kind words.

Anyone have a guess how close to harvest I am?

I believe my equipment is OK, the best, no. I don't think the tent had anything to do with my issues. I did something wrong both times not the equipment. I also think the grow would have gone a lot better without the summer heat. I will be starting another grow in mid September. I can control heat better, easier and cheaper then AC. Again, I'll say I'm surprised they grew at all given I didn't have a clue how to do this. I have a log for this grow, what I did and when which will help on the next one. I think the major issue I had aside from inexperience was keeping the VPD in the sweet spot so they could feed properly. during the first 4 weeks of grow I had no Idea what VPD was or how it worked. A bad pH tester didn't help me much either in the beginning. I've learned a lot but still have a lot more to learn.

If you are growing photos, you veg them at 18 six! When you want to flip them you switch to 1212 and that will put them in flour! A simple explanation! Two or three weeks would be my guess!

You're referring to the light time 18/6 and 12/12 correct? Seems simple enough but I am growing autos.

Yep, hours of light! Autos you just keep running at whatever you want! Some people go 20-4 . Others 18 six! Kind of a matter of personal preference! You are handing over control of the flip to the plant when you grow autos! I don’t like handing over any control! L O L

I decided on autos after reading that they were the easiest to grow for beginners. Being the old farmer that I am I never had control of my grows, it was Mama nature all the way once in the ground all I did was water and feed. I'll give photos a try again once I master the autos. Right now the cupboards are empty so I'm going with autos again, besides I already have the seeds.

OK! But in my opinion, you have it backwards! You should hone your craft on Photos, and then mess around with autos! Autos are far less forgiving! But go for it! At least you’re growing! And being the cynical bastard that I am, I think the , Autos are easier for beginners. Crap, is the marketing coup of the decade! I don’t think anything could be farther from the truth! There! I feel better!

I won't argue the backwards, it's the story of my life. At least I have some idea about autos. Yes they do seem to get mad easily but as I said I need something on the shelf and stop the retail purchases. Then I can take my time and enjoy the grow as a hobby and not the necessity it is now. I use cannabis for pain relief. I have issues. Does it relieve the pain? Some, but the point is After smoke I don't really care if it hurts or not.

Autos just put a lot more pressure on you to perform! Generally not what a new grower needs! You’ll do all right! Autos are good for short, outdoor seasons, to fill in gaps in indoor tents, etc.! You look like you have the veg Part down! That’s the important part with autos! If you screw that up, then the whole grow suffers big time! Keep on keeping on!

Shorter grow time sold me considering the circumstances. I did screw up the veg. part some but learned a valuable lesson. Thank you and yes I will keep on keeping on till my keep gives out, everything else is giving out lol.
