Been at it for over 35 years. So happy its legal now. I grew for many years with HID and switched to LED few years back. I started by building a 2 x 8 rack for some 240 watt HLG Style quantum boards from Alibaba. I then got so involved with LED I decided to build some lights. Now I run a 12 bar 4x8 flower rack with 1720 watts with all the good spectrums. Love to help people out with growing and building their own stuff.

Wow….mighty fine looking hooch right there. Can I ask the strain of that purple bud? You just can’t get any better looking nuggets than those…..different maybe, but not any better.
I’m an old fart as well. Grew back in College (‘90-‘93) and for 5-6 yrs after, but all outdoor…..then I stopped…not sure why. Didn’t get into the indoor until it became legal in my State (Va), so I’ve only been at it for a couple yrs.
I’ve learned so much and I realize how incredibly lucky I was w/ the outdoor plants. All the things that can wreck a grow in nature and never had any of it happen. Plus I didn’t know much about growing at all…..I was taught how to tell if they were ready, which a lot of growers need a lesson on.
I had great genetics, we cloned mostly, and the Golden Horseshoe kept the trouble away…..but I digress.
Glad to have you and I, for one, may be picking your brain along the way.
When u have a minute tell us about your style or technique……I’m always looking to improve. A there’s a thousand ways to skin the cat.
Cheers

Thank you I appreciate the kind words. That strain is MAC1 CAPS cut. The strain has been copied and washed out some over the last couple years but this is a true cut from the original genetics. I grow in PROMIX, The all purpose stuff. Its under 15.00 a bale at my local Menards store. I use American pride time release dry organic ferts. I supplement Call mag as well as some bone meal and BUDSELL in flower. Love this hobby as the meds gives me a lot of pain relief. I also have PTSD and it has helped with that TREMENDOUSLY. ASK away if you have questions. I don't know it all and learn everyday but do have a good amount of real life experience in this. I build custom LED lights so if you have questions or want to build your own I'm glad to help with parts or advise. Here is a picture of a cross I did of a G13 Hash plant and a purple strain
