If you are selling any of those seeds I’m interested.I agree % don't mean alot. I do remember selling Hawaiian the same time my buddy was selling pre skunk #1 skunk and everyone agreed the Hawaiian was better. If I had a green house and could grow 100 f2 plants, I can easily isolate the smell and put it in s1 seeds. The genetics for the smell is still here in my seed bank.
Any chance I could get some of those seeds?.Yes my cousin has seeds he grows outdoors in Maine, it is old school skunk the nugs are super sticky and when u squeeze a bud a little bit of oil can be seen, has been growing it since the 80s, I don't bother bc the smell is so strong my neighbors would definitely smell it and be bothered bc of the smell, a large high yield plant good for outdoors but when the wind blows u can smell it a half mile away.
your answering threads that are a few yrs old, most of those members are goneAny chance I could get some of those seeds?.
Use your google fu to find landstrain seeds online. You can still get real weed seeds. And avoid all the new gay ass fufu weed running amuck now days. Real sativas and indicas.... Let you in on a little secret. There is no such thing as old school skunk weed. It's marketing.....Do you have a line on some old school skunk?
I picked up a skunk clone earlier this year, grew it out and sent samples to some people on this forum, some locals, and I gave some samples to Piff Coast Farms, Humboldt Seed Co, California Lightworks, Cannatrol, Trifecta Crop Control, Beard Bros Pharms, and a few others. So far the consensus is that this skunk is legit.I have searched for the old Humboldt skunk strains from the 70's for two decades. I used to live in the emerald triangle, I've called friends who still live in the area, I've been to 20 dispensaries, sorry to report, it's gone the way of the dodo. I've tried a dozen different strains advertised as "skunk", none are even close to the old Humboldt stuff. Used to be when driving the country roads in October/November it smelled like someone had hit a herd of skunks, but there were none on the road!!!

There's a smoke report from a member here, and still waiting on a few others to post their reports, but they confirmed with me through DM that it's the real deal.

Road Kill Skunk - Ester Alcohols, Train-wreck and the Catpiss Connection
Yes some samples have been sent out and a couple people locally have some also. I agree and trust Backyard Boogie's opinion on smell and taste to let us all know, and he got the first samples.🤙🏻www.thcfarmer.com
Hey guys I have a smoke report for the two skunk strains that Infusd mailed to me. He sent me roughly an 1/8th of each. Plenty enough to sample. So out of the two strains one of them is awesome and the other one is still good but it lost some of its funk during the cure. The Super Skunk is still solid weed with a good smell and a great high however that one isn't the madman. Its definitely got a good smell but it's more on par with other strains that I have smoked.
Now moving on to the "Roadkill Skunk" aka "The Abomination"... Now this one is definitely on another level and I'm most excited about this one. I’ve been puffing it out of a pipe and last night at band practice we rolled a fat joint and passed it around. Everyone in my Reggae band (all veteran smokers) loved the smell and high. It’s very potent smelling herb and it has a fierce nasty funk to it. Kinda hard to explain the smell but I guess the best way to describe is it’s kinda like a Skunky death/decay smell. It’s hard to say for sure if this is definitively the RKS that everyone is searching for because each persons sense of smell and opinion and memory is different. But what I can tell you is the terpenes on "The Abomination" are LOUD and HOT. It’s better than 99% of everything else I’ve tried within recent years. It tastes great too when you exhale it kinda has a nice “earthy green forrest” style of taste. Which is funny cuz it smells “wicked nasty” but tastes surprisingly pleasant. It’s great fellas I’m gonna hopefully run it as soon as I get cuts from Infusd. For sure this was grown well Infused is a great grower! It’s very high quality flower however I think that if this cut was grown in hydro and also if sulphur additives like a Mr. Fulvic was utilized it could possibly take it up even one more level. This is of course speculation but the only reason I mention this is because I believe with any new strain there are modifications or adjustments that can be made from a growers perspective that can enhance the finished product over time. Overall I'm very impressed with Infusd and his growing capabilities and I want to thank him from the bottom of my heart for all his contribution to this thread!![]()
Yeah, that’s the stuff! I remember when I was about 5 my grandfather told me to smell one of those!!!Doesn’t sound like it’s the road kill I remember,
Straight up skunks ass, as my memory recalls.
Boogies memory sounds like my recollection.
To each his own,
I would say you’re still far from the road kill of the 80s-90s.
Maybe a water downed version of some skunk cabbage:)View attachment 2323691

Reeferman Santa marta gold smoke report:
She is fruity, but not forward. She is sour. Pretty sour really. Its the most forward flavor. I would put the fruit second. And there is gas in the back. A sour gas. With an almost lemon thing on it. And the whole thing is woodsy. Not alot. If you run landraces, you might know what im talking about. That foresty flavor. Have recently heard on podcasts that it didn't go Santa marta to bakhi/mazari afgani. Then acapulco. It went acapulco and Santa marta was crossed first. It makes so much sense considering these 2 countries were growing weed for the American market. It would seem more plausible that aca and columbian were crossed first, and then the afganis showed up. With this being said, the diesel could very well have started with acapulco gold, and columbian gold. After running and breeding acapulco gold, I can totally see these 2 plants creating a diesel type first, and crossing it to the afgani/pakistani created the skunk. Even structure speaking, the acapulco is also a loose flower. As you can see the Santa marta is also. Real diesel plants are very open loose flower. And im also not sure the sam story is completely true. I know, im a heretic. Lmaobut im having trouble with the diesel story. How can you make a loose open flower from a chemdog? Its a dense flower. Or if o.g. is in the story? O.g. is super tight flower also. Neither plants makes sense as parents. So what if the Aca x S.M. is the diesel? And from there you can imagine how all the rest of the family tree would go. Perhaps chemdog or dog bud is this Diesel x O.G. kush? So many questions, and working on the answers!! Love the skunk!!
The utter f*cking delusion of some know-it-all clowns online is crazy. Here's a site that has actual objective evidence to the lineage & orgins of SKUNK. And spoiler alert, no f*cking Colombian or Mexican were involved in growing it. Clickable links on the site, where the mapping of the lineage is:It makes so much sense considering these 2 countries were growing weed for the American market.

Yes, its still around with private growers. Everything commercial has been so hybridised that its all the same.In the Saginaw Michigan area in 1987, there was SKUNK bud.
Soome of you know EXACTLY what i mean.
Is this strain available today.Every skunk i have triwd here in michigan, is not the same.Dont even come close...someone shed some light????
I never said I know it all. I am just a grower with questions. But thanks for name calling. Pretty elementary. The utter f*cking delusion of some know-it-all clowns online is crazy. Humboldt Legacy Project Skunk Selections
We have been using these two selections as our beta cultivar Skunk #1, to find accessible pathways to preserve, authenticate, and value cannabis genetics. The Skunk #1 was the perfect variety to use due to its widespread use, documented history, public domain status, and all the hype around it...humboldtgrace.org
I know exactly the type of bud you speak about, last time I had the pleasure to spoke some would be early to mid 1990’s. The Top Shelf bud at the local bud stores, the highest THC bud, gets me high, but not enough high to look for it again..tastes great, like grape bubblegum, or cotton candy, or your girlfriend’s BFF’s panties, it’s all gone stupid. The last time I smoked some bud where I said “WoW! Now that’s good pot.” because it just ain’t. Period. A few of the clerks at these marijuana stores, which replaced bars and clubs in my one horse north Ontario town, have gotten angry at me for complaining about the fact that Skunk Bud, Wheelchair Weed, Road Kill flowers, wtf ever you call it, is long gone, and the best stuff around is barely not bad pot. They said something like it was because of the chemicals the cops sprayed it with. Um, nope, it was the chemicals that grew in the plant, THC & CBD’s. Fukin’ kids telling me about shit that they weren’t even alive when it was around, nor were their parents. It’s so messed up now.In the Saginaw Michigan area in 1987, there was SKUNK bud.

Undoubtably a Cali connection, Humboldt Skunk (and it smelled like you ran over a skunk) was the main product in the 70's through the 90's out of Humboldt and Mendocino counties, but it's gone now. I know, I've been looking for 30 years.I also have to believe Noodle had some kind of California connection. Who would have had that stuff in at least 1972?
