A buddy of mine gave me about 20 15ish yr old seeds to try to germinate. Only one popped and is quite finicky. Anyone have any advice or experience with old seeds? Currently LED, 5.9 ph, DWC, humidity 60% and 40’s at night, high 70’s- low 80’s day 5 degrees less at night. Rusting issues seem to be solved, no nutes yet. 2 other plants new seeds (unknown strain) look great on either side, all under same conditions. The 1st 2 photos are of seeding of old seed(5 weeks old) and the 2nd are from unknown new seeds (3 weeks old). Happy growing all!!

Any idea what strain she is? Older are always finicky but let her ride out and your are on the right path.
Older strains are usually high calcium feeders so maybe increase that intake

My buddy was from LI NY and he said they all called it Freddo, but that might have been a code name. Thank you for the advice!
