So I have 2 plants the same strain. One plants pot is dry and ready for water tomorrow. The other pot is still damp and probably needs a few days more to dry out. The growth of this plant has seemed to slow down allot if not halted. Its always lagged behind the other to. They both look healthy and strong. What would cause something like this? Both plants have been treated exactly the same.

What are they and how old are they. Photos or autos? Yes i understood you as " seed " from same package.

So two different seeds.
Could be very similar pheno or complete different pheno on why you would see difference on growth in between your two plants.
Looking good for 6 weeks old.

I have two 6 inch ACinfinity fans in opposing corners. They blow at opposing corners just above the canopy. They are both on half way.
That wouldn’t dry one pot out before the other : ) I have a box fan blowing under my canopy and the first few pots closest to the fan dry out a little quicker than the other pots.

I know. Its weird. Maybe it just halted growing and isn't drinking. Well today is day 5 without water
I need to water 1 plant. Do I water them both?

Might be soil mix in one pot is more hydrophillic, and the other hydrophobic.

Check if water runs off without wetting the soil in one.

Maybe one has more perlite or oxygen.

If soil is very hydrophillic and conpacting it will effect growth

I mixed all the soil at the same time. They have both dried perfectly and ran off with the same amount of water until now.

I wouldn’t water the one that is still wet. Are you able to “give a little heft” to the pot?

Sometimes plants respind diffrently or maybe there is a lockout.

What I would try is to flush the soil with low ppm..ec.. 200..300ppm..

You are using light mix and nutes or organic slow release?

Gaia Green organic. In soil and top dressed. Nothing else but some worm tea.
What I am guessing, unless its the position like another fellow grower mentioned, you over watered somehow it and your soil is holding the moisture, if you have smart pots, put a breeze on it so it drys faster, then see how the plant responds, dont let it dry completley.

What light are you using?
Do you water it at the end of your watering? Sometimes last plant takes all the recidue at the bottom of feeding, if it is not mixed well.. and takes a shot of ec..

Check all parameters are same, in the end if it is genetics only a real miracle can make it better.

Your Pheno might be sensitive to the parameters you are giving, but the others have a diffrent pheno resisting or reaponding well.
