one garden five Indica strains

I was feeling a little down on the matter. Thinking the weather might go to hell. We already went through regular bouts of thick humidity, that sometimes lasted up to a whole week. The two thinner more exotic looking trees have me a little nervous.

I caught some powder mildew on #1 and cut it away. The good news is theres a solid week of summer like temperatures and sun right on tap. An Indian summer couldn't of came at a better time.

Here are a few currents from this morning. The prior pics were a couple days old at the time I uploaded them.

I think I mentioned that I was able to get some of the Gro-Tek organic bloom and got some in the dirt a couple days ago. It may of been what jump started the buds. The plumpness all the girls put on was noticeable by the first glance this morning.

It will be exciting to see what happens this week.

Here's girl one, after a date with scissors . I did get on the topic of PM before, so maybe Murphy was paying attention. You know what they say about Murphy and his "law", right?

The rest are somewhat in order. I may have a couple double takes mixed in with these new pictures.

You can also see the trichome production a little better.

Heres hoping the PM won't progress and that the rest aren't susceptible to it.

We have some light rain and overcast to get through today. I'll also be hitting them with a second blast of bloom nutes tomorrow, the gro-tek and a little bat guano supplement. Then its on bebe!

This is when we as farmers squish that little meanie head on our shoulder telling us it’s not going to work or it’s not a good idea! if I told you how many times I’ve felt sad over my entire project you guys would all hate me and change my name to DEBBY! Hahaha! I just put my best foot forward (one of my two left feet) and start kickin the SH$# outta it! you’ve done great this far man!!! Be easy on yourself and remember this shit doesnt come over night : ) you might do something to your plant that you dont even notice change until weeks later. That was my papa pep talk of the sugar variety lol! Now you get the farmer pep talk! You ready? It hurts when we put so much effort into something we need or want and almost expect, but that just isn’t the reality. We lose plants to reasons out of our control. Our desire to succeed drives our passion no matter what fucks us up at the end of the day! Start swinging that HAMMER!

The pm is extremely sporadic, and not effecting the other 4 by a visual check. KNOCK ON WOOD! .

I'm not against trimming a bunch of fan leaves in such a time. I otherwise mostly let nature do its thing.



I just finished giving the garden a blast of nutes, grow-tek + silica + a tbspn of composted high P-K bat turds. Thinking get while the gettins' good.

I was pleased to see this this morning. Its starting today and tomorrow all looks much the same.
A times it can partly work against. The hot days and colder nights make the plants wet and dewy. This is when a greenhouse would be quite awesome. Thats something for the future.

Right.

But when everything does go right its a sight to behold. Potency too, everything is great.

I'm gona make a note to mix in some AK-47 OG next time. The last time they were in full flower by the end of July. And they reach maturity sooner than any plant that I know of.

Usually they fair better here. I should of picked my own strains that part was not the best plan.

Although genetics are quite nice. a couple are too delicate for the rigors of outdoor life, so far it seems.

I like to switch up my strains and don't always have the best outcome. I want to try so many newer indica hybrids and they sometimes are slow in my climate like now LOL. Wanted to try blueberry muffins outside and for me with what i used pot size and feeding i could of done better. I did choose 65day flowering plants but it does not look like they will finish by end of Sept like my plan. The purple kush x white widow is further along and healthier. So yes anytime i grew a kush outdoors seems to withstand the heat better. Have done Bubba and Og kush outdoors both those strains finished up without problems.

See, I’d really like to get my hand on the feral hemp that grows in the Midwest because it’s already well adapted to my climate. Obv would take a few generations of breeding to get good flower, but then you’d have the perfect outdoor plant. If anyone knows a good place to find some (hopefully not Indiana cuz it’s hella illegal there.)

Look in to AK-47 OG. I probably grew this one most because finish time is 7 weeks give or take a few days.

It seems to be fairly resilient outside in the weather too.

The limited experience with kush brands isn't much to speak about. But a big stand out was "purple kush". That checked all my boxes.

Large in stature
generous large cola production
nice potency and effects

Mine averaged a half pound or so with 6' tall plants. They reminded me of lush Christmas trees. Top colas were fat, really fat. About the size of an official game football.

I never had any problems with my batch whatsoever, right in to the 3rd week of October.

In fact I just decided those two strains will be involved next time.

Its impossible to sample them all. Unless working with acreage of land.

I wouldnt be concerned if I didn't already chop two down on the weekend and throw out gobs of forming colas.

PM made it a race to get as far as I get. I otherwise take them deep into October unless el nina makes the transition weird.

One garden with 5 different indica strains.


10 bags/per 30L top soil with following amendments:

: % sea life compost, kelp shellfish and a bunch of other morsels plants like to thrive on.
: % crushed powder dolomite lime.
: 10 lbs of worm castings.
: % sheep manure.

weekly feeding schedule:
per 8 litres of gassed off water.

1 oz. pbp grow.
1 oz. pbp blooms.
2 caps calcium.
2 caps silicate solution.

I always alternate feeding percentages as things progress. Always start with less until you have time to gauge how the plants react.

Light :

5.5 hours direct mid day high intensity natural sunshine.

Im not sure if you read the part about powder mildew.

Its been my outdoor nemesis for the second time now.

Im not going to keep any, its on 95% of the plants now. Who the hell knows what kinda bacteria is in it. I never been that far into reading up on it.
