I am using a green goddess Armoire,
Full spectrum led
5 gallons bag
Humbolt happy frog soil
I haven’t added any nutrients
I moved the lights up, stopped watering, the moisture meter is maxed out near the bottom of the plant, and turned the house heating down, the temp in the box was 90 when i check it, the colder days cause the home heat to come on and heat the grow roomShe is OG Kush 11days old
I had gnats but got rid of them
Does look like a leaf curl caused by heat and/or humidity/moisture issues.I moved the lights up, stopped watering, the moisture meter is maxed out near the bottom of the plant, and turned the house heating down, the temp in the box was 90 when i check it, the colder days cause the home heat to come on and heat the grow room
Yes the lights are controlled, i have them at around 30%, i have moved them up, i dont know what the humidity level is, i can get a meter, if it lower than i need could i place a bowl of water in the box?Does look like a leaf curl caused by heat and/or humidity/moisture issues.
What's your humidity sitting at?
Does your light have a dimmer?
Moving the light up like you did should help.Yes the lights are controlled, i have them at around 30%, i have moved them up, i dont know what the humidity level is, i can get a meter, if it lower than i need could i place a bowl of water in the box?

Good call,Do you have a fan pointed at her?
Hello and respect,
I am just getting started, i have one plant, OG Kush,
My thinking was one plant would get more light than two in my grow box, i am having cupping problems, i have moved the lights up and turned down my house thermostat and im monitoring the water in the soil.
I hope this solves the problem.
Anyway, i am honored to be here and im looking forward to learning about this amazing plant,

I've started seedlings in Happy Frog exclusively for years, never had a leaf curl issue from the soil. They stay in Happy Frog and solo cups all the way up to transplant. Its the Happy Frog...
I use FFHF as well and all of my young plants start off with a little leaf curl. I start seedlings in a pete pellet, no issues, no curling, but immediately after transplanting to happy frog, my leaves twist and curl badly... This has happened to me on 5 different grows. I continue to use Happy Frog soil, my plants turn out great in the end, just a little rough to start.
The good news is that the problem goes away once the plant goes into full veg. Maybe Happy Frog is a little too hot for seedlings? (I'm planning to try Fox Farm light warrior for my next grow, Seedling's and early veg, then move to HF)

Seems to clear up as the top nodes set in..

I also transplant my seedlings to final pots with 2 parts Ocean Forest to 1 part Happy Frog.
My experience is when you get leaf curl as a seedling.... the medium was to wet, a spray bottle was used and mist got on the leaves, or a combination of moisture and heat.
Seedlings leaves are really close to the soil/medium when they're young so water from the medium can have more of an impact of leaves.
If you read the reply, I told you why you're getting leaf wrinkle.Well, we'll just have to agree to disagree than won't we?
Happy Frog has caused me slight leaf wrinkle in 5 grows now, not sure why. I'm tired of arguing with you. Are you chasing my threads with opposing view points? I'm trying to be helpful, your not.
Side note: tried ignoring your name, but its blocked. So, please know that I will not read any of your replies incoming... I'll leave this thread to you now, wont be back. Carry on.
Ocean Forest is the one they say is hot for babies.First timer here as well with a 1 plant grow (Skunk XL) in a 2x2x4.
The FFHF soil seems to be a little hot for the babies. But with time and good genetics they will bounce back.
Mine had burnt tips and curl for the first few weeks
And maybe check your humidity. Had a funky time with my RH driopping due to weather and she started flipping leaves upside down and back up over the course of the day.
It’s all such a relative gameOcean Forest is the one they say is hot for babies.
In reality though, there's no such thing as "hot" soil.
There's been some bags of Ocean Forest that people say the PH is off and therefore effects plants like it's "hot".
I'm an exclusive Happy Frog for seed starting and seedlings, never experienced any of the issues described.
Only with excess moisture and/or heat.
I completely agree. It’s all such a relative gamenever a definitive answer until your in the room with the plant.
All I know is early on my VPD reading and Temp/RH for seedling we’re pretty standard until the cold snap here in the south. I’m going to continue using HF until I find something that works better for ME! Again not the best for everyone. Just me. And I think that’s where all this infighting has come from. We’re all here to help us grow and as somebody who doesn’t necessarily mind confrontation I can also say it’s not always needed.
Nobody here is the enemy, that’s the government folks. We are all the same breed, same heart. We all just want to grow wonderful medicine and make connections doing it.
I hate seeing the drama, whether it’s all of the cali cannabis news, weedtuber bs, or even growers online.
