I'm planning for my next grow. I'm going to be running 3 autos in my 2X4 in a month roughly.

I make my own soil. I have 27lbs of Rabbit shit and 35lbs of EWC.

I'm also going to be making 2 to 4cu ft of my homemade super soil for 2-4 photos probably in November. So planning on mixing it up soon for it to cook 4 to 6 weeks.

For the autos I'm interested in organic Nitrogen input that's available the first 35 days of its veg. I'm planting them directly in 3 gal pots. EWC is slow release, rabbit manure is medium release, bat guano N is faster. That way the auto has all the N it needs for veg and the transition available.

Right now I've decided definitely with Alfalfa, 50/50 Crab and Shrimp Meal and Kelp Meal. These are no brainers you get good NPK, 2 plant hormones lots of micros, amino acids and vitamins. But I want a Nitrogen input that's available in enough quantities to supply an autoflowers fast 3 to 4 week veg stage. I found a college study on Nitrogen availability of certain amendments. Seems Bat shit is highest and quickest available like in 5 days. Would the Nitrogen in the EWC and Rabbit shit be available immediately if I cook the soil for 4 weeks and not have to add Fish Meal or Bat Guano?

I'm also got 10lbs of milled barley flour coming this week after reading everyone saying it's a game changer. Something about more microbial life, Silica and Chitin. So I'm going to add that as well.

Personally it looks heavy on the nitrogen for an auto but maybe others can provide better feedback. Gnarly barley from build-a-soil is the original from clackamus coot himself

Biggest issue I see online is there's so many different NPKs for cannabis out there. Some say 312 some say 553 for veg. Maxibloom in DWC is 5 15 14. You can run that veg to right before harvest. Lucas formula is like 1:1:2 with a 4:2:1 ratio of K Ca Mg fot efficient CEC and no lockouts.

100N 100P 200K 100Ca 50 Mg 42 S

So there's so many NPKs and fertilizer mixes are all over the place these days requiring part a b c etc for money making.

Crab meal is slow release Ca and so is Oyster Shell Flour. So how are you sure you're getting Ca in the beginning 1 month of growth. Idk if dolomite is faster Ca or not. Been trying to find our how fast each amendment is available. Shrimp Meal was 0 to 1 month available. Crab meal was up to 4 months.

I found a website than can take in up to 5 fertilizers NPK and weight and calculates the total NPK for you. I'm trying to use certain amendments to hit something like 7:5:7 or 3.5:2.5:3.5

I'm just looking for a Nitrogen amendments that'll be available the first 42 days to cover veg and stretch and then have enough PK readily available say after 2 to 2.5 months from mixing the soil when it wants PK boost for flower

I'm ok with having a balanced NPK like 444 or 555 and using fish emulsion in veg then switching over to fish hydrolysate from early to mid flowering then 0-10-10 Morbloom for late bloom. I can boost it with those to increase the right Macronutrient at the right times.

Only thing is having the right amendments for the balanced NPK baseline that will be ready for the plants. Autos they say to seed in final pot cause transplanting can hurt yield due to stress. So I also don't want to burn it. Plus how do I factor the NPK of the rabbit shit and EWC. I'm using only 10% of each as part of the base soil mix.

I'm still contemplating 25%Peat 25% Coco 30% aeration and 10% Rabbit shit and 10% EWC. Or should it be 20% each of peat and coco 30% aeration and 15% each of Rabbit and ewc. Also considering not using coco and all peat cause CEC is higher in peat but aeration is less.

I have Shrimp Meal which is 6-6-0 and the Nitrogen and Phosphorus is available faster than crab meals is.

I have Dr Earth dry amendments the 463 veg and 394 bloom. Also have 444 and 222

Have you seen bill farthing's thread balling on a budget? He is using 415 if I remember correctly which is also close to others claiming 314 to be almost perfect. For most plants 312 works best. I don't know much but I think if you're right around those ratios then it won't make such a difference if you have the other variables on point like vpd, lighting, etc.
