So far, I am amending my Fox Farm Ocean Forest soil with Dr. Earth's Flower Girl, Down to Earth's granular Humic/Fulvic acid granules, and feeding the plants with Down to Earth's Kelp Meal, Espoma Organic Alfalfa Meal, some (bulk) Crushed Barley (pulverized in a food processor) [these have been Top Dressed into the soil], and my Water has had 2 ml/gal of Silica Blast plus 1/8th teaspoon of Powdered Aloe Vera Gel/gal. for every watering.

AUGUST 4th After a light Trimming & Fertlizing 51 days from seed

I'm surprised at how big some of the buds are, for such young plants

Good to know, TY. Especially since this is my first attempt at an Organic Grow. I'm having slight yellowing of tips, but nothing serious so far. I don't know if the lights were too close for a few days, or what. Meh.... I say now: Come On, Buds!

Yes these are Autos. Strain is Blue Amnesia Autoflower, from Kyle at Homegrown Cannabis. They are supposed to be Quick to mature, Yield is "Light"....but with four plants, it should be plenty for lil' ol' me.

Update Aug 11th 58 days from seed

These plants are performing largely As Advertised. They were marketed as being "the fastest strain"...and while I cannot attest to that, I WILL say: They're QUICK. One day shy of two months since the seeds popped, and I'm checking the trichomes. Many pistils have browned and shriveled, but some are still white. The trichomes are a mix of clear/cloudy, the majority being cloudy. I like a bit of Couch Lock, and will hold out for the Amber on the trikes...hopefully they'll begin showing Amber to the tune of 25% or better within 2 to 3 weeks. No water today, as the pots are a bit heavy from yesterday....their water consumption has slowed considerably - another sign that they're close to Ready. The two on the left are shorter & bushier (FFOF soil), while the two on the right are taller, lankier and are a bit Behind in maturity.

LEFT...(bushier)

RIGHT (taller/lankier)

Comments are of course welcome.

PARTIAL HARVEST Aug 12th I pulled the two smaller plants on the left out of the tent & placed them in a dark walk-in closet, in an effort to "Brown-Bush" dry & cure. I left the other two in the tent. I've looked into the "brown bush" method, which consists largely of letting the plant slowly die in total darkness with no water or nutrients. The purpose of it is to allow the trichomes/terpenes to change, as the plant consumes all its remaining clorophyll. There is not much on the Web about this so I'm taking a Flyer, but I figure Experience is the best teacher.......according to people who've written about it, this should take about 10 weeks.

AUGUST17TH The Left-Behinds

Here are the two I left behind. I am giving them nothing but water. They are not ready, but about half the pistils have turned Brown & are shriveling. These two have another week or two to go, before they'll be ready.

64 Days from Seed. On my second batch, I will surely use some LST...at least.
