If I knew you could get plants like that in soil I migh have tried to begin with. But hydro is all I know. I do plan on a soil grow some time. Just to do it really.
Honestly its alot like a fish tank. Its unstable at first, but once you get the Nutes in and hydroguard in and after a week or so it the pH balances out. And after a few weeks/ changes its basically set it and forget it. Even more so with the pH perfect from AN.Probably means youve been good, and if not id rather be lucky than good anyway.
Yea I'd have to agree. Ive been impressed with some soil grows ive seen latelyCant veg quite as fast as you hydri guys but i dont think its slowin them down in flower any lol

Lmao... Finally somebody who understands. Yea an exoencive fish tank is perfect comparison. Except I think growing is easier. But both take a lil skill to get stable but are set it and forget it once its right.Yeah thats kinda what i figured, i had tropical tanks, fresh water cichlids and a few more tanks, i feel like it couldnt be much worse lol

Looking forward to seeing those harvest pics. Got me antsy to start my grow. Not there yet tho about to start buying my equipment this week. Still hung up on what light to run.
I was helping another guy that was running a led flood light he got from work. It was 17w actual power. Do you know anything about them. I couldn't find anything but they come in diff spectrum. And last 50k hrs. I could prob veg under 100w. Idk just thinking. I hate using this 2x4 t5 for single small plants. These are all northern lights 5 X haze from sensi
I recommend one of those dual bulb cooled hoods. The are like 40"x30".5x5 tent, prob a 4x4 footprint like you suggested. I'm all over the map as far as lights. I want to start with one 600 watt and add another later. Been looking at the magnum xxxl air cooled 600w. I'm just basing my choice off of info gathered off the web and these forums tho.
