I have been having an ongoing issue with my plant. The oldest fan leaves turn brown at the tips and get real wrinkly then dry out completely.
At first I thought it was a fungus or something so I removed the affected leaves. The next night MORE leaves were affected. Only the fan leaves and only the tips. This has been going on for 4 of the 5 weeks of the plants life.
It seems to be growing nicely, other than the fan leaf damage.
The soil is FF Happyfrog and I added a gallon of worm castings, a gallon of perlite and 4 tbsp of Earth Dust Base. Oh and I may have added a cup of bone meal. I was pretty high that night.
When the damage first appeared 3 or 4 weeks ago, I immediantly flushed with several gallon jugs of distilled water.
some tip yellowing
will it eventually use up the excess P (assuming that's what it is from the added cup of bonemeal)
What can I do to tone this soil down? Short of taking a cutting or two and starting over...
Will flowering it trigger more use of the phosphorus?
