Wholly Mackerel is actually a Fox Farm product, but Advanced Nutrients does have some good names, every product has a "mascot" with their own name. I'm doing things completely different with my grow vs the grow op. At the grow op we were using Mother's Earth Coco when I got there and Cyco (the green bags). Some rooms had one and other rooms had the other. We used the 3 gal grow bags from Rio Coco for the tables that got installed in three of the six Flower rooms. Of all the coco coir products I've seen and/or worked with, Rio Coco is the best quality.

They were using House and Garden when I first got there with some success and decided to give Athena a try, like just about every other commercial operation. It's crazy to me how far Athena has come in such a short period of time, but that's what the power of social media can do when somebody like the Jungle Boys switches their feeding schedule to Athena. Advanced Nutrients was even forced to make a very similar product because so much of their market share has been taken away by Athena. Coco and salt based nutrients vs organic soil and organic nutrients. My plants smell way better than anything we ever produced at the grow op. I'm a firm believer in organic fertilizers in living soil is the best medium to produce the best terpene profile. And I've never done a cost analysis for Athena vs Advanced Nutrients, but AN is not as expensive as you would think. Just about all of their products are 2 mL/L rates, very potent products, decent cost per application. Fox Farm's products are more expensive per application.
Some more pics from the old job.

Nice, thanks for the info on the Coco & Nutes . I'm always open for options so I'll give em a look for down the road.

Not sure when I'll go back to soil. Only did soil a short time when I started but It will be coming back at some point, just don't know when. I suppose when I get tired of the work with the Coco and slow it down some. that'll be when. My BIL is a soil grower, both in n out...he's got the flavor n terps...I've got the kickass weed lol...The Mr. Fulvic I use gives the organic flavor albeit not as strong as soil grown but its there...especially when I vape

Social Media... 🙁

Day 30 of Flower, fed the Colombian Miracle plants 3500 mL each of a 6.3 pH solution of Iguana Juice Bloom @ 4 mL/L, Big Bud @ 2 mL/L, Nirvana @ 2 mL/L, Ancient Earth @ 2 mL/L, Sensizym Organic @ 2 mL/L, Big Mike's OG Tea @ 2 mL/L, Bud Candy @ 2 mL/L, Grandma Enggy's F-1 @ 2.5 mL/L. Fed the 5 gal plants 5000 mL each of the same solution. I adjusted the lights a bit because I think I was pushing them a bit too hard. I started to see lighter colored growth on the tops closest to the lights. It could also be heat stress. The room has gotten up to 88° at times in an effort to reduce the RH down to 55-60%.

Fed the Colombian Miracle clones 120 mL each of a 6.3 pH solution of Azos @ 1 tsp/3 L, gave the Mother plants 1000 mL each of the same solution. I sprayed the Mother plants with Grow Safe @ 25 mL/32 oz for some Powdery Mildew. I think it's when I cranked up the humidity is when the plants started to go the other way. I was running the tents at 78°/85-90%RH and that's just too moist. I changed it to 80°/65-70%RH and we'll see if that helps.

And the new Mother plant clones are 9 days from being cut and still no sign of roots yet.

I got the room at 80° with the lights on, drops to about 70° at night. The RH is staying consistently between 55-60%. I checked the leaf temperatures thanks to a very helpful thread from @Aperkins1972 , that was certainly an undervalued environmental factor. @Aqua Man deserves credit for that helpful information too, thank you both. The leaf temps were definitely too hot for a bit when I had the lights closer to maximize the PPFD. I've since backed the lights off and opened a couple of vents in the tent to lower the temperature. We're now between 800-1250 PPFD and the leaf temps are between 73-79°. The plants are loving life! And so much for the high CO2 concentration theory in the big open basement @sportyridr I bought an inkbird plus CO2 monitor + hygrometer and it's reading around 475 ppm outside the tent and closer to 400 ppm inside the tent. The Colombian Miracle strain is just a heavy producer.

Thats still a touch higher than atmospheric levels… basements usually around 600-1000ppm ut that depends on a lot

Sounds like your dial is getting closer to center with the setup, very nice.

Pretty sure I was just passing on that info I heard from Aqua albeit poorly lol. The plants are stacking up thick from the looks here. 😍

Looking great, I did notice the Mac's were a bit behind the update before last but just attributed that to the MAC genetics...still coming nicely man. The one & only cross I grew with Mac in it went 12 weeks, turned almost black...

They give a pretty wide finish time for the Columbian of 9 - 12 weeks from the link. I gather the longer the better with that strain....

The M.A.C. plants should be ready to harvest after 9 weeks of Flower and I'm actually thinking the opposite, the earlier the better. I'm looking for the best 9-10 weeker for the Colombian Miracle phenohunt.
