as the title says, I'm looking to throw some clones outdoors this week or the next! I'm gonna pick up some clones from allataeclones, and a mother spot called masterclones. trying to figure out if it's too late in the year to plant outdoors. so cal is at 14:03 minutes of sunlight right now nd it's going up as most of you know til the 21st of June and the it starts receding. I'm sure both clones spots have them under 18/6 the 4 hour difference is gonna force them to flower isn't it? how can i stop this? is the only way supplemental light? or will they be fine without it?

also I'm trying to decide on whether to get sativa dom or indica dom considering the time of year I'm throwing outside. would it matter? I know sativa go a bit longer and i might run into some issues with rain if it flowers late into the final quarter of the year so I'm being cautious here..

what are your thoughts? suggestions?×

I would definitely put supplemental light out there! Or they'll flower, 8-9 weeks strains should be fine

Harden your plants off... dont just stick them out in the sun all day when you get them

I hope you ended up throwing the clones out there! I'm in SoCal too and I've put clones out as late as September without and supplemental lighting and ended up pulling a good couple OZ's from each plant. Just plant more clones and it all evens out.
