At least most of what I need to do going forward is cleaning up leaves not too demanding even if sore, a few got some work but its a long road several are early strains so late sept to early Oct, 9lb already purple tipped and a bit of leaf fade hoping this colder weather is a bonus in disguise brings more purple idk day by day

Yea I get in such a hurry sometimes 44 not a spring chicken they hurt worse for longer at a certain age lol bet can't be so willy nilly with the body 😅
Glad your ok. So....hows the plant.😆

Buddy of mine broke 3 ribs, falling off a ladder, while pruning a tree limb.
Asked him why he didn't ask to use my pruning pole, first. Tree limb swung down, and took the ladder out from under him.

goodness man hope hes doing better

Plants ok knocked a limb off wasn't a major limb side shoot that probably wasn't going to get into the light, cracked another limb but mending, bruises a few scratches, im glad I pulled my arm in instinct was reach out that probably saved a broken arm

he only So you know them ladders are sdangerous!
.
I got a big Don Carlos from seed growing and flowering. I’m growing in ground. I have my own Nitrogen rich compost, made from shredded leaves and used coffee grounds. I amended soil before planting with my compost. I usually just put a couple shovel fulls. I may have overdone it this year. Anyways, I wonder why the buds are so far apart? Maybe too much N. Also I have a greenhouse plastic cover on top with could dilute sun light some.
You will probably notice that I may have overdone it did the pruning. Always worried about bu rot.

One old fart to another. Plants and set up looks great! Did you pluck off a lot of leaves? Your bud spacing shouldn’t matter, they will fill in.
Yep, I plucked off a lot of leaves and new branches , the ones at the nodes. I didn’t know for sure how many to leave on end of each branches. Looks like I could have left more grow down the branch.

I’m glad to hear the buds will fill in. I have a white widow photo period that the buds are close together.

I had my first successful auto this year. A Durban Poison. Got a gallon of buds. I mainly grow for a family member.

I never take any leaves off, it’s the energy that drives the plant. When I give new growers plants , they always ask what they should do. I tell them don’t remove leaves, let it grow. You will be ok, next year let it grow. You start plucking them at the very end, when your buds fill out

Same picture, sorry. Just wanted to show you
No worries nice yea I tend toward later defoliation as well usually only take crossed leaves larger burned out leaves, early shaping focus energy to tips, insane how many branches ive taken but they are very linear branches, probably most ive ever went at a plant without fear, i tended towards wait and see payed sometimes just stepping into confidence doing it

Trying like hell to get out of my own way and stay in my lane 💯 putting everything i got in this one, staying busy has been best thing but im whooped ways to go yet

wow, really bushy ! so if your plants get rained on, being that dense, how do you prevent bud rot? have the branches under the canopy all been stripped? The plants are beautiful !
