If you have the chance to grow outside and are prepared to stake and support your plants, I highly recommend it. I’m in NE Massachusetts. First pic is from May 1 starting to harden inside plants (started April 1) for outside growth. Planted in ground May 4. Second pic is from June 1 (pardon pine pollen on plants) where plants have grown 500-600% taller and bushier. Coast of Maine Stonington Blend soil, about 15 gallon holes in ground, 15 gallon pots, FF Grow Big and Big Bloom nutes, worm castings, occasional cal-mag, occasional molasses, 6-7 hrs direct sun, 2-3 hrs indirect sun, 2-3 toppings each plant, spreading with stakes and twist-ties (with a lot more spreading to go).
