Outdoor reveg for increased yield

I've done a bit of research on monster cropping and from what I've gathered you reveg when you take a cutting from a budding branch and it reveres and bam it branches like crazy. My question is, has anybody tried vegging over winter then timing it to where when you would normally take a monster cropped cutting you instead throw the whole plant outside, which would hopefully reveg it and every budding site would monster crop out, then veg for the season then flower again. Would this work? And also would you get 2 stretches or just 1?

You need 13+ h to reveg the more the bedder some reveg under 20/4 or even 24/0 i think you need additional light if you are not in southern hemisphere or on the mun :D
