Outdoor trimming in late veg?

In 5 and 7 gallon bags to stay under the fence, regs but all female, starting to bend branches and they seem to be telling me to take out the big fans. WWYD?

You’re not even in flower, much less late flower, so no reason to defoliate the fans (as there are months to go). But you should certainly clean up (remove) all the bottom stuff and small internal branches to thin out the plant. Most of these won’t amount to much, a real pain to harvest, and cut down on the air flow which can lead to mildew, mold, and bugs. If height is becoming an issue you can top, but realistically it’s kind of late for that and you don’t have a single top cola where it’s going to make a big difference. (You don’t want to be cutting off a bunch of flower sites this late in the grow.)

Yeah, i already thinned them once but they filled right back in.
