Still some well known strains of his. That sucks, not one real keeper? Guess they cant all be winners. Seen some real nice dream beavers and blue taras. Im hoping for a good goji, might drop some soon.

Damn, I forgot you had two packs of the Goji. Someone on IG was saying I should do a reveg with mine, now I'm starting to think maybe I should try to do that, you keep saying mine looks better than any of yours did. Hmmm...?

Planning to start taking cuts from the stuff I have in veg. Part of me wants to just do seed runs for a bit but, that other part of me keeps telling me I'm a moron because I've lost shit that was definite keeper material back in the days before I started cloning.

Ive seen so many people say they wish they took cuts that i always keep at least one good rooted cut until after i smoke them. Especially now that i see you shouldnt expect a keeper in every pack.

Back in my earlier days of growing I never even considered it, then when I realized I could and maybe should I still didn't bother for a long time, thinking it would just be more work for me to do and I really didn't need that.
After losing some awesome stuff because of it I started realizing how stupid it was to not do it. Yet, here we are, lol.
One was a really nice White Widow I grew, damn, I loved the flavor, smell, and even the look of that girl. Another was a Cataract Kush, she was special all the way around. I wasn't lollipopping at all back then and the very bottom branches that weren't sitting too far above the pot really on a 4 foot plant were producing a top bud as big around as an American silver dollar. (Believe I may have said half dollar somewhere before but, that was wrong.)
The other that stands out was probably my favorite actually, a Kandy Kush from Reserva Privada that was from a fem freebie seed. As much as I would've liked to have had the other two the KK was the last one and the most devastating to lose. She was sooo nice, ridiculous trich production, just awesome flavor and smell, and from the time it was a seedling on it just struck me as being everything you'd want from a marijuana plant, just a perfect specimen to my mind.
When I ordered more seeds, at the time, I only had the money to order 2 or 3 packs and I had to order 2 of those to find more...only, out of those 2 packs I didn't find a single one that resembled that first one in any way.
My cousin has always been a beast when it comes to cloning straight to soil but, I've never had a lot of luck with it so, at the first opportunity I ordered my Turbo Klone and started cloning everything I grew.
Now, silly me, with a ton of beans on hand I figured I'd just do a couple seed runs then go back to cloning. Honestly though, my first run back I couldn't have taken any cuts from those super-stunted little fuckers anyway but, I could've from these. Although, the only that's really standing out to me as being excellent is the one pheno of the Critical Strawberry and supposedly those super strawberry smelling phenos are fairly common, we'll see. I don't think I'm terribly concerned with letting any of these slide tbh, but hopefully I don't eat those words later.

I havent found anything elite yet, but i have a few that will get a second run. Ive also heard the clone run almost always comes out better than the original seed run. I do really like my starfighter x longbottom leaf keeper. I think i can dial her in and get her even better. I guess i like that part of cloning too. If you didnt run them to your best you can start over and see if it was you or not. You rwally dont need much to keep a few cuts alive til after harvest. A few cfl, t12 shop light, whatever. Mine have been in a solo cup for months from the last run.

So, I already know it was pretty damn stupid of me to figure on doing any seed runs without taking cuts, no matter where my head was at on potentially not caring about taking them from certain things for whatever reason I had.
With that out of the way...
I figured I would snip the only two small side branch pieces I had going on the Goji and try to get them rooted and revegged. I really didn't want to dirty my cloning machine again on the possibility so, I had an idea...
Not sure if it was somewhat brilliant or just another dumb move and I should've just used the cloner. I have these mini air stones that are like 1" long by like a 1/2" wide that I originally bought for aerating gallon jugs of water so, I put some water in a couple 18 oz. cups, ran air lines with those stones into them and set up those cuts in them.
Time will tell what kind of move it was, brilliant or stupid. Gonna be bummed to waste a couple of nice little nugs if they don't get rooted and revegged for me but, I had to give it a shot I guess, this one is starting to strike me as something that might be very good. We'll see.
I put those cup pieces around them to try and keep the buds from getting soaked and encouraging rot.

They should root but its a pain in the ass to reveg afte they're that deep into fower. I would do 24 hour light. Didnt have the chance to strap on my foil hat for the other post, still at work and i cant hear shit in here

What timing, I just happened to pop on and I get to my thread one minute after your post.
I have my light on 24hrs and I know it could be a long ass time for them to start growing out again if they do. Gotta give it a shot for the moment anyway, I might try some of it and decide I really don't give a shit but, I've gotta try to keep the option open for now. Should've freakin' just taken cuts anyway but, I did figure on the possibility of doing this very thing if I saw any real potential for something unique.

At least you have a good chance, and if they're fire it will be worth the trouble. I have a plant ive been trying to reveg for awhile now. Shes finally coming around

Just gotta keep waiting and waiting until they finally decide to grow out again, the good thing is I'll know soon if I even want to bother, if it's not special enough for me to keep then I'll just dry those buds out, put them in the clouds and forget the whole thing! lol

Guess I need to dig out my heat mat for starting beans, I've had a terrible rash of seedlings dying off on me, it looks like damping off and the only reason I can come up with for it to keep happening is that with them sitting on the floor at night as cool as it's been getting they just need the soil warmed up some.
I hope that's all it is, I've always had good luck with starting beans until some issues recently, if there's something else going on I'm in trouble, I lost all of the Pink Lemonade, the two Clown's Kush, and the Strawberry Sour Larry. What sucks is that's all of the PL and the only SSL, I have more of the C'sK.
