Got my Sour Secret and one of my 2 Sour Dubb's transplanted today, they were both only in cups but, I bumped them right to a #3 anyway. My other Sour Dubb is in a quart container so, I'll let it go a little longer before I re-pot that one. Really nice...

Really nice, white, pretty roots on my Sour Secret just like the Jack Herer, both of which I started from seed. The Sour Dubb had a good, full root system but, it was kinda brownish looking and didn't really put me in mind of a healthy root system by it's appearance. Bums me out. Makes me wonder if there's something wrong with these clones, I have had troubles with them all... hmm.
I don't know, something's screwy somewhere. The stuff I start from seed looks healthy in the root system and the clones do not, maybe I'm calling it too soon, maybe I still haven't got my new/old way caught up with that one yet. We'll see what some more time says I guess.

Actually, that particular clone was started in that soil, the other one was started in the TK. I guess I have to wait and see what the other one looks like.
I've had 'em look great coming out of the TK and then they brown up in the first pot, I had come to the conclusion that the 707 was the culprit, I've read shit about people getting bad soil and it was certainly full of fungus gnat larvae but, whatever.
I got rid of that and I start seeing nice looking roots, but only on the stuff from seed soooo, I don't know.
Thinking about it, I may have used 707 and SAM #4 in that like I had been with other stuff but, I didn't think I had put any 707 in with that, I guess if I did that would explain it.
Like I said before, it may be too soon to call yet.

What's ups everyone fig drop threw for a sec show some new progress..

Clones popping out the wood work like I know what I'm doing haha...

Hard to see, but that's the fem cheese that decides to grace my tent finally.. Very long germination and took forever to pop out soil.

Sorry about doubles..


Does any use the ffof, it seems very strong I nutes... I transplanted everything clones, mother, the next to flower etc ... Think I'm starting to catch on ... ( "" my new theory, shut up and listen and watch the gals "") seems to work this way no feeding yet but thinking of maybe start big bloom says good at any stage for sweeter taste stronger smell ...

That's what I like to hear! I see you're running 2 Chems this time. Maybe you'll like it the 2nd time around :)

I've considered this possibility but, I'm not holding my breath. lol
You know, I've found that when I try a nug or two from my drying weed when it gets right to that point where you can get away with it that I get the best flavor at that point. It wouldn't surprise me to learn that I'm doing something wrong keeping me from getting that same flavor later on but, I haven't found it yet.
I really should stop trying stuff at that point because it leaves me constantly a little disappointed. lol
Anyway, I explained all that to say that the first time I tried the Chem was at that point and it really reminded of some of the old school 'ghani that used to be around here that I loved and I thought I was gonna be right in love with it but, it didn't turn out that way.
Gonna give it another shot though, we'll see.

Maybe jarring just a tad bit early? Have you tried boveda packs? I've noticed once I get to the cure that they really bring out the flavor and color in the nugs. How was the taste on the glue of mind you tried? Anywho hope you like the Chem this time. It's some of my fave smoke and thinking maybe the 2nd time around you might like it more. Guess time will tell :)

I find that the Bovedas ruin the flavor if left in too long, I put them in if needed and then make sure to take them out when they reach the moisture level I want.
I've actually been thinking I might be jarring a bit too early sometimes. There's been a few times it was dry enough going in that they really didn't need burping. I know that's a little late, lol, but I've also been at the other end of the spectrum and in between so, I don't know.
Of course, I've had a problem with everything drying too fast for a long time and I've just recently slowed it down. Always working towards getting it all dialed in, always pushing forward. :happy:

Lol guess I should of said I get it dry, trim, in a bag for a day and then into jars with a boveda and leave it be for like 4 days and then pull it out and reseal for a day and then reopen for like 10-15 min and then it's closed and don't open until I get nugs out(which is often lol). The 62 get them to wet I think. Need them to release the 52, that'd be bout perfect. Maybe try drying it just a half day longer this time then usual and see what it does? Or into a brown bag or priority box for a day or so to slow it down even more. Idk just throwing ideas out there man. I'm just a guy with ideas, some work some don't lol.

Yeah, I know how that is. lol Someone was saying a while back that they were gonna be making 55's, I'm pretty sure it was 55's, real close to that if not.
One thing I keep forgetting is to do the bag thing for a day before I jar it up.

Yea I had some 55s by another company and they were junk. I hope boveda will release something lower. I'd love one that I didn't have to watch. Oh well it works lol. Maybe give the bag thing a go next time? Or maybe throw it in a bag a lil before you think it's ready for a jar and let it slow dry in a bag for a couple days. Idk man just ideas again lol

It might have been 52's they were talking about, my memory's shit, it was Boveda though.
