these par charts are freaking bananas. I dont think I've seen one this high ever. Was looking at growers choice but the difference seems pretty drastic, so leaning towards these now. Any thoughts or anyone running these?

Geez you'd probly have to have em pretty distant or your tops would be toast lol
that was my first thought also, but it has dimmers for spectrum and power... there's a video here... its freaking awesome looking šŸ‘€

Absolute trash and BS numbers. Don't do it man.

Do the math here 1000w through 1360 diodes... see how they fuck with the order of wavelength and pieces to make it difficult to spot?

Red flag number 1.

Compare to the HLG scorpion diablo 650w with 3888 diodes. 3x the amount of diodes and almost half the power.

Efficiency is largely improved by running more diodes under lower power.

Then they back up what I'm say by claim the industries biggest heat sink (more like money sink)

We all know the waste byproduct of light is heat and the more heat per watt generated the less efficient.

Hell the scorpion fiablos do t even have or need a heatsink and I don't think gavitas do either.

That's as fas as I need to k on that all of thier numbers are absolute bullshit. And because if that alone I wouldn't dare rusk my money on it.

You may have a 1000w light but the output would prob be dam close to the 650w of either HLG or gavita or other top brand.

Newber there are alot of people marketing that light from what I have seen. That looks just like the Mammoth stuff and I saw another brand marketed with the same platform. To be honest with you take a look at the Fluence, HLG or Gavita stuff. Grow Generation has some pretty good prices on the Fluence and Gavita stuff. Just be aware the Gavita's need a e series adaptor to run thru an adapter. I will PM on the growers choice.

Correction to run thru a controller

I'm told that anything above aprox 900 is wasted unless you enrich with c02. Thats another can of worms. If you haven't had good relations with a business buying equipment see if you can find it on Amazon, Often the same sellers are on Amazon with the same product and same price. With Amazon they will back you up if it prematurely breaks forcing the seller to make good. The majority of the equiptment is made in China. Do you need to be stealthy? Beware that products sometimes come with labeling plainly visible. And think about explaining to your credit card company why you need to reverse the payment to the seller.
I bought really good high power quality lights, did a decent job of all the other care. And was bummed by the resulting smoke. I lost interest and can't even resell my equipment so far, there has been little to no interest. I'll just keep it I guess, maybe one day I'll try again. It occurred to me that if you have good genetics and do an average job of it then you will get good weed in exchange your many months of efforts and expenses. I have seeds from different sellers and may try some in the future in a one or two plant grow. My advice is Good Genetics will trump all the fancy grow equipment. Find The seeds! Or get cuttings from your friends. I see some growers here mention growing the same variety's from the same seed sellers I bought from and so full of expectations. I shake my head and know they are headed for disappointment. Some of these seed sellers just put anything in the envelope and send it to you. You have no way fo telling what you bought.
Beyond that there is a glut of weed grown for the legal market and prices are very reasonable compared to growing your own. The pro's have the talent and the great genetics. Dispensary's can be really picky with what they buy, and there are rules imposed by the states for testing considerations. What do you do with 20 pounds of weed the dispensary won't buy? You find alternative markets. Next time I do small, testing seeds, one smaller light and exhaust keeping the energy bills down to just ten or twenty dollars extra. Not much work needed and what ever happens happens. I
l know lots of folks here are really experienced and got past many of the pitfalls. I'm talking to those newbies with limited experience, for them I say keep it small and cheap.
You won't be a farmer the first few times out. It's like anything else.
Best of Luck
