Partial harvest vs dark period

Hi my top buds are going to be ready before some lower buds. So considering a partial harvest? My problem comes in about the dark period before harvesting. Do you advise dark period before partial harvesting or would that really damage the growth of those smaller buds. What ya think?

Never believed in that "dark period" and i've done many partial harvests. If the trichs are right go ahead and leave the lowers to mature.

Galgrows is spot on. I have done the dark period a couple of times. Seems like a waste of time.

i cant remember how they react in soil but in hydro after you do a partial harvest it will spit water next day you will find a puddle in the box. dont know why i am writing this but
