Perlite for first autoflower seedlings

I'm starting my first run with autoflowers. Everything I've read says once germinated, plant your autos in the same pot you're going to finish them and don't transplant due to quick growing time. Should I still add perlite to the soil (Foxfarm Ocean Forest) or will it stunt the germinated seeds ability to get enough moisture? My gut is telling it that it may but I'm a noob..... Thanks!

If it's an auto you want a lot of aeration, put it in the final pot yes and definitely add a bunch of perlite. The humidity in the air is what seedlings need ✌

I’m a new grower. I find it easier to water correctly in smaller size containers.

This is my 3rd grow and first for autoflower. I've read it's best to pot up with photo's, but with autos to start it off in it's final home because it takes time to recover from transplant shock and they are on a fast timeline. But I'm open to all suggestions :-)

I like to up pot on a day that I water. It helps keep the soil together.

Have the next container ready with a hole big enough except what your transplanting.

I haven’t had a problem with transplant shock. I have had problems with watering incorrectly.

i started with 4 seeds 1 died 1 was male 1 was gdp photo and 1 was gdp auto look at the date of the pics in bottom right corner the auto was 1 of these
