...a new watering can! 😄

I've been using a crappy 1 quart can that I got given a few of when I first started and it's fine and everything but just gets a bit annoying as so small. Anyway, see how this goes with its 2 gallon limit.

I nearly made a thread about watering cans (maybe I still should?) as I've had a few others which didn't work out and then a sprayer that was annoying as just hurt my hand to grip/spray and it's either too strong/concentrated) and moves the soil about or too light and takes forever.

Still after the perfect can!

Here's the ladies outside this morning.

- Topping gone ok and and can see those two lovely shoots beginning to emerge (not the best pic admittedly). She's just finding her feet in the pot still but looking healthy enough after transplanting and a radical haircut. I expect/hope for her to really take off now.

Pineapple Skunk
- Looking good also. I've been doing some ridiculous LST with her (@BearWater ) but she sucks it up and comes right back. You can definitely see the skunk heritage in those leaves.

Oh and both had another neem oil spray yesterday evening as definitely little monsters out there having a nibble.

So I thought I'd do a quick (tester) smoke report from a couple of the last grow which are approaching the min 2 week cure mark. I don't think I did any for the previous grow which is terrible. Suffice to say the Froot Fuel (Speedrun) is one of the nicest things I've smoked in years, taste, smell and smoke wise. That is going on the grow again list, so much so I bought a pack of the F3 seeds of it!

Anyway, to continue...

Aunt Ginny's Elixir (Mephisto) - This is the 1:1 THC:CBD strain I grew and it has a lovely, warm, calming effect to it. Very simple high, easy up, easy down and nice everyday smoke I'd say. You can get on with whatever you need to do with a smile on your face. And the CBD definitely and just very nicely takes the edges off. Really happy with this first step in to CBD strains I've tried. Helps with my pain and inflammation (back, arms, hand etc) a lot.

Lemon OG (Twisted Trees) - Now this is just euphoric. Such a magical. uplifting high and just makes feel giddy all over within minutes and no anxiety or worries at all. Just want to want to chuckle at everything with a happy grin on my face. It's so, so nice. But there's absolutely zero lemon smell or taste to it which is a little odd surely? Making me think I burnt the terps or something. Maybe it'll come on as it cures for longer? Definitely one for the grow again list.

I'll update more as I try them. 🙃

Got an interesting tester from Speedrun yesterday. I couldn't resist and caved and bought another multipack in their sale as they had the Froot Fuel F3 (Iove the original) which you can't buy on its own and two other classics of theirs.

Anyway, the tester is their Sapphyre F2 x Squirt. Not seen the Squirt ever mentioned with them and had to go look up the strain (interesting google search 🤭). Intrigued by it now.

Quick update after watering this morning. Both looking good now I think and just need to let them get on with their thing. I'm gonna give them their first feed by or on next Monday and then I'm away for a couple of weeks vacation so the neighbour will come round and help out.

And a little friend(?) who may or may not have been nibbling the HBSS (they popped out as I shook her).

The topping has gone well on the HBSSxNCH and I am desperately resisting the urge to LST her out in four directions. Just gonna try and leave her alone...he says. 😉

Little late for the HBSSxNCH but sod it, sure it'll be fine. And the PS should lap it up as it's using the last of the potforpot soil which runs out of nutrients in the end so with it being a photo all should be good. 🤞

Another quick update as away for a couple of weeks on holiday now.

These were the ladies yesterday. The PS definitely enjoying that feed with the new growth looking v healthy and HBSS x NCH getting on with things but I feel a little stunted maybe. Let's see how she goes whilst away.

I also may have split the HBSS after gently (haha!) bending one of the top stems. Fool! Emergency honey and tape in action. Should be fine but what a silly sod. 😉

I think that’s definitely a large pot.
