Our style is a little different as I’m all hand watering, but I just mix it into my nutrients once a week.

If I were in auto pots, once a week I would top water just a few hundred ml of tap water mixed with recharge on top of doing everything else as usual!

Fingers crossed! Still umming and aahhing over the FunkyM and what to do. One minute she's out, next I think just let her be and see what happens. Until I need the space not really a big deal I suppose.

Also might need some more CalMag I suspect from some of the leaves but will keep an eye on.

What are you running for base now ml/gal?

It could also be possible maybe she doesn’t like the auto pot setup and is just experiencing issues from wet feet.

She was a wrong 'un from the start though...lol! Literally popped through the soil and stopped dead in the propagator just about. Tiny and deformed growth ever since, slightly improved once in the tent. Weird but is a Mephisto Illuminauto (#58) so more a test bed for them and these things can happen anyway.

Still the same base of 221ml/30gal so 7.06ml/gal. All dumped in on 13th Jan and they've drunk about 5gal so far but this is increasing daily of course as they grow. We're halfway through week 5 now.

Schedule (see below) would suggest to 258ml/30gal (so 8.6/gal) which is, I think, about what you suggested previously? I'm just using A&B at the moment so can disregard the others and obviously autos not photos.

I usually jump from 7.1 ml/gal to 9.8 ml/gal so you should be just fine no worries.

Some plants stay happy forever on the 7.1 in veg some get hungry, you just gotta watch each genetic and change it up.

Here lately the highest I’ve been taking my base in veg and flower is 9.8 ml/ gal no higher, they all do great but there’s other additives at that point for pk.

I’d increase it like you’re planning, see what they do, then increase it again slightly when you start to notice preflowers and get ready to do your flower thing

Sounds like a plan! I now need to work out how much to bring it up to the desired levels with what I have left...time for another spreadsheet...lol! Or just tip it out and start again. What do you do, empty and refill or just add? I'm leaning towards a fresh refill.

They all started pre-flowering this week just gone, white pistils here and there, so I think I'm a little behind the curve. I'll boost it up and see what happens, being a bit cautious I think.

I had a little tidy up yesterday, some v slight defoliation to get rid of a few of the lowest leaves in shadow and fill a bit of extra coco in here and there. Some leaf tucking and then I tested the pH, it had drifted up to 6.6 so spent an hour getting it back down to 6.1. Lesson learned, I need to be checking it much more often.

And I've got to admit I keep catching myself and thinking, I need to water them but obviously don't! Old muscle memory...lol!

It is done, emptied the reservoir and gave it a very quick wash out/spray with a hose. Filled her back up again with 20gal this time (think Ive got about 2.5 weeks before changing the feed concentration again (in week 5, will do in week 8ish)), just over 144ml/20gal so 7.2ml/gal. 42ml of CalMag agent and pH down to 5.8 from, 6.5 (she'll drift up). Plugged all back in and switched her on again.

It was a fun afternoon and beginning to feel a bit more comfortable and confident with it all.

I also turned the light up a notch the other day so around 490PAR at the canopy but then saw some white tips on new growth and of course realised I hadn't raised the light height in tandem (back to 30") so done that now to hopefully resolve.

Ok, day 34...and looking ok.

Blue Power has got the hump (droopy) with me for the new/stronger nutes and reading up some more on it apparently is v sensitive to them. Aah well, she'll come round. The FunkyM is doing its funky, stuff, still!?

And all the others coming along nicely with some lovely growth to be had. Been doing a lot of leaf tucking! Had to raise the light height again as the Spotless Mind is shooting up and still had some white tips. Supreme Runtz seems to be growing out of her iffy start nicely as well. Might start increasing the VPD slightly now we're moving along, currently sitting around 1.0.

Air domes will be switched on this weekend or start of next week.
