Mostly top leaves but bottom ones a little as well, so I also highered my lights a little, I'm using fox farms trio, grow big at 1/4 strength- liquid bloom also 1/4 and Tiger bloom at 1/3 since it's flowering, I pH the water to just about 6.2-6.7 maybe the highest ever I go.Cal mag always fixes it... I maybe would add a little though. I don't think you are anywhere near a nutrient lockout or in need of a flush. Keep an eye on your pH consistancy. Are only the top leaves light and yellowing? What nutes and how much too?
What is your medium? What do you think you will achieve by a flush?
I think this is a Ca
I did notice the buds are still nice and green and fatten up, I did another good flush of my soil, and left it with just plain pH water yesterday, today I may just give it plain water, I'm not sure yet. I did higher my lights about an inch too, first time growing one plant when I normally have 2 in the tent with 2 lights, and as for week of flower I'm not 100% sure as I'm not home to look in my grow notebookYour buds look like they have plumped up considerably over the past six days. Is it still drinking as much or even more? How much light are you putting on it? Leaves look bad. Too much light can cause leaves to curl up and have heard it will almost always cause cal deficiency. I wouldn't think about chopping early at all unless she quit drinking totally.
Thank you, and definitely a learning lesson for me, I just hope this doesn't reveg or anything on me before I chop it....buds look to be foxtailing with little green leafs? They either locked out or need nutrients and i would agree the lights contributed significantly. At this stage your not going to fix it. The plants pretty much done growing new leaves and it will not repair the existing ones.
use the information you gained to prevent this next grow
Just make sure you have no light leaks and keep environmental parameters in check. Thats all you can do. I highly doubt it w reveg but cant say its not a possibility.Thank you, and definitely a learning lesson for me, I just hope this doesn't reveg or anything on me before I chop it....buds look to be foxtailing with little green leafs?
Thank you so much for that response, I appreciate it, I believe the issue is slowed or stopped, I'm leaning towards the light being way to close and me just being newer over looked this, learned my lesson. I'll keep them going for a little till chop, but again that k you for that knowledgeJust make sure you have no light leaks and keep environmental parameters in check. Thats all you can do. often times heat stress can do that. By that i mean actual plant temps not room temps. plants with damaged leaves transpire less and that means higher plant temps. Plants convert excess light to heat (meaning more photons than they can use. Damaged leaves are abke to use less photon)
So keep the same light cycle but you may want to back it off even more. The plant doesn’t need a whole lot of photosynthesis at this stage as its stopped needing energy to produce new vegetation and gone full reproductive mode developing buds, trichs etc.
You goal should be trying to keep this from getting worse and that to me likely means cutting back in light intensity to get them across the finish line.
thats my opinion on your situation. I can’t claim its 100% your issue but to me it’s extremely likely
