Hello... Well this all started when i got ahold of some "killer super blueberry" beans and kept my three males.. I actually let the three males flower out together and combined all three pollens together:eek:..Anyhow i took this pollen and pollenated a shit ton of strains but so far the pre98 pollination has proved to be the most desirable and diverse! I found a pheno in the f1's and she has been dubbed the "Strawberry Bubba".... Anyhow i found the most structurally/stinky dad and hit her to make f2's and i def have seen alot of diversity!@#$# I have not found a f2 fem that represents the "strawberrybubba" and i just went through about 50 females. I have more KSB/PRE98 beans but am wondering if i should take the f2 pollen i have now and hit the f1 cut again? or hit the f2 female i like the best with the f2 pollen?? or should i keep popping beans till i find a f2 female pheno that represents the strawberrybubba the best and hit her with the f2 pollen i got?? Idk... i keep thinking i need to just keep testing f2 males out on my f1 choice female till i get beans that express my strawberrybubba dream:D Here's some pics of the K.S.B. x PRE98 "Strawberry Bubba"....

Thank you EVOKE:cool:... lookin to bring in some og influence to this so i've got reserva privada's OG, OG#18, SKYWALKER, CANNALOPE KUSH 'dna' and OGRASKALS FIRE ALIEN MASTER...... all those are fems outside the F.A.M. but am hopping to hit some of this with my own provin strwberry male..... man there is alot of good looking genetics around here!:)

Fantastic work Kali U... very, very nice. I'm working on my first breeding project (CBD Nordle x Fire Alien Kush) and can only hope to get to the point where you're at some day. Let us know what you decide for next pollination. I'm moving ahead shortly on my next rotation with cherry-picking F1 & F2 backcrosses unless something changes my mind. I have no doubt you'll have fine success with your project from the looks of those pics... very fine plants. Thank you for sharing this and all my best!

Beauty. Take F2 pollen hit Strawberry Bubba. Produce more uniformity and increase chances of finding said pheno.

very nice looking plant and great pics too. if your goal is to get this plant or close to it in seed form. i would take 2 or 3 F2 males that either resemble the SB mom or some of the F2 females with charactoristics you like.collect the pollen mix it together and backcross it to the SB momma. in the bx1 generation you will get 2 or 3 females out of 10 similar to your strawberry bubba momma. try and find males similar to the mother keeping things you like along the way like strong branching,tight node spacing decent stretch and so on. repeat step 1 collecting and mixing pollen to pollenate you SB momma. in this bx2 generation you will find about 50% of the females take after the SB momma. this is as far as i have gotten, but it really does work. this is how brothers grim created C99. take a male or males from this bx2 generation and again pollenate the same SB momma. the females from this generation will be 85% or more SB momma dominate. you can then repeat again and get 99% of the females taking after the SB momma(hence the name C99) this process is called cubing and i have read everything i can on it. you can never get to 100% because of the alle attached to the Y chromosome in the male.

Nice Kid Tiwist! Ya you know its funny cuzz i popped abunch of those f2's and found a couple pheno's i liked and am keeping... none of witch came out like the said strawberry pheno though but for some reason i was under the empresion that i should be looking for the strwbrry pheno in the f2's so that i may hit her with the f2 pollen? I been thinkin bout hittn the mom with the f2 pollen and now its sounding like the way to go:D... so i'm not gonna get persicuted for not testing my males out induvidually? cuzz i did'nt in my first cross but was plannin on doing it this time... boss thanx for that piece there!:cool:

if your goal is just to get the females of the line taking after the SB momma then there really is no need to test the males. if your goal is to make a true breeding line, were your gonna make crosses or search through furture fgens for differnt phenos then yes testing the males would be more important. i would make sure to pick the best you can as far as, branching/structure, node spacing, smell and stem thickness. since bubba veges and clones slower then most i would look for males that grow quicker if you have a tie pick the male that clones faster. good luck ill be watching this thread it add soem more pics of the plant if you can whole plant shots and what not.
