if your goal is just to get the females of the line taking after the SB momma then there really is no need to test the males. if your goal is to make a true breeding line, were your gonna make crosses or search through furture fgens for differnt phenos then yes testing the males would be more important. i would make sure to pick the best you can as far as, branching/structure, node spacing, smell and stem thickness. since bubba veges and clones slower then most i would look for males that grow quicker if you have a tie pick the male that clones faster. good luck ill be watching this thread it add soem more pics of the plant if you can whole plant shots and what not.

Stoked!!!:D I just recieved a order from the tude... 6 reserva privada "OG KUSH"fems.....6 reserva"OG#18"fems...... 3 reserva privada "SKYWALKER OG"fems....11 ograskal "FIRE ALIEN MASTER" regs... these are the ones im popping cuzz me and a buddy orderd together and he has the....CANNALOPE KUSH and the OGR FIRE BX...... I stuck them all in water along with 20 Strawberry bubba f2's!!!! and i popped 10 of my SOUR KUSH x STRWBERRY BUBBA F1 pollen.... Have a good nite all! bless up

as many males as you can use the better. what i do to hurry the process along when i make crosses. is to use my male(s) on the strain but i also throw in other strains. that way you kill 2 brids with one stone. you've made your cross and now u can grow out a few from each cross and see how they respond and if its a go you already have the cross made to dig into and go further with. basiclly you might as well throw clones from all your mommas in when you are making crosses you can always throw the seeds out later or share them with friends, but it would suck to have to go back and do the same cross you could have done 6 months ago. get as much done at each step as you can. so if its no biggie for you to collect pollen from more males do that, you can always select for what you want later on, but it would suck to have to go back 2-3 generations to add somethingthats missing.

Nice twist! Great words my brother you hav def awnserd my troubling male questionss..i have been unsure as to when i should start separating them..i def see your logic there! So if i take my f2 males and bx to the said pheno that will make a bx1 but also a fgen is counted? And for sure! I have hit everything with all the pollens i have collected...i been doin my best to look into the crystal ball and try to conserve as much time as posible!@#$

once you back cross to the mother the resulting seeds are the bx1 now if you cross 2 bx1's thats an incross. good luck
