if your goal is just to get the females of the line taking after the SB momma then there really is no need to test the males. if your goal is to make a true breeding line, were your gonna make crosses or search through furture fgens for differnt phenos then yes testing the males would be more important. i would make sure to pick the best you can as far as, branching/structure, node spacing, smell and stem thickness. since bubba veges and clones slower then most i would look for males that grow quicker if you have a tie pick the male that clones faster. good luck ill be watching this thread it add soem more pics of the plant if you can whole plant shots and what not.
Ya im def looking to prove a male that i can breed with... and i wonder if it would be more benificial to go ahead and keep the 3 best males for this first bx just to hold more diversity for the next gen of bean and then test the males out individually? so that im a gen farther inn.... or start testing individually asap? I hope that made since Twisto_O Well when i do get to the male selection point again i will def be looking for all the traits you mentioned! hey brother its a blessing to be here you really know your shit mang! I'm gonna come chek your thread or threads out,,,were ya at?
