if you watch this video, they test the Philips greenpower DE lamp in various fixtures against each other, including the gavita, and epappilion and a few other set ups, inclusing also a hortilux bulb powered by a growamp ballast...

hte results are interesting to say the least....yes the Philips greenpower DE lamphas better spectrum than the hortilux super hps....but if you look at the numbers, im pretty damn impressed with how hortilux stacks up against the gavita with the Philips greenpower DE lamp....and im even more impressed that how well the aircooled hood did with the Philips greenpower DE lamp, it actually outperformed the gavita, by a pretty good margin at that...

that's a shitty link, just a long boring talk about what they are testing without showing the results. the results are apparently available on an un-linked blog - how about linking the results instead of the monotonous schmo?
