that’s right , phosphorus will absorb just between 5.8-6.2 , low soil ph one of the certain reason for P deficiency , try use calmag extra for raise the ph of bedsoil
of course always runoff ph higher than your real ph bedsoil , likely your soil ph about 5 , even in soilless phosphorus will absorb higher than 5.8-5.9 , ph 5.9-6.1 ideal for P absorbI think it was a problem with the runoff pH. Was sitting around 5.1 and I believe this has caused a phosphorus deficiency. Could be wrong I guess. Anyway I've flushed and the runoff is now 6.2 so fingers crossed now.
