All these indoor shots, I thought I'd share a shot of my So Cal winter grow. From November thru February I use supplemental lighting for regulated days so they get a full 12 hours of light, with 8 hours of actual direct winter sunlight. They've endured 90mph winds that were knocking the plants over it was blowing so hard... Bugs trying to shred them, rats and something larger stealing whole branches in the middle of the night that forced me to build a screen cage... And some fuck ups on my part, like when I blasted my Durban with the garden hose and a bunch of the water reaching the pot and causing pH toxicity with leaves turning fan fingers upside down and shit. I've never done a winter grow and honestly didn't expect anything near the results I got with temps being lower and not as much energy from the sun. The Durban has about another month (End of March) to fatten up and now that she's getting happier after the drenching incident, hopefully will fatten those colas up. The Ice Cream will be ready in about 3 more weeks.

Not all plants get amber trichs if you didnt know, not that it really appliednin this case,
If they take a long time with that strain going from clear to milky, i would judge it by the amount of red/brown pistils.
You want to see 95% pistils dark and curled inward to the bud.

Ok guys and gals this been going like 15 or 16 weeks of flower now and I've almost had it haha I wanna chop let me know if youvall think it's ready. Ignore the bad photos

Loiks delicious, I say keep an eye in them trichomes and let her keep going it's still growing white hairs this late (wow!!!) but comes a point your losing more than your gaining and that's a good time to chop.

You know there's this whole personal preference of early / mid / late harvesting but for me it just places it in a category as to what time of day I'll enjoy it. Them deep autumn harvests make the best nightcap weed and Sativas chopped early hit me like a double espresso and who da fuq ever assumed people like their weed a certain way every toke???

Beautiful job filling your tent with flowers!
yeah but if seem most of them are slowly getting lighter green, a little bit sooner and faster than i'd like. And this despite the fact i already gave them a tad bit more N last watering.

i have searched how much too much soil dry back could have an influence on microbial life population that process organic nutrients and nutrients absorption, seem that to a certain extent that doesn't help.

"Dry soil reduces plant growth potential and disrupts the balance of microorganisms that support plant growth."

"Extended periods of very dry soil conditions can reduce nitrogen (N), phosphorus (P) and potassium (K) availability to plants."

over the years i may have slightly lowered my watering frequency closer to wilting point during flowering, so trying to slightly raise it to see if that help preventing them fading too early.

I watered the same way’in smaller containers. Now in a living soil I don’t allow dry back. I keep it some what damp and use ecowits to monitor as my microbiology is crucial in my grow. Much easier style for me.
