They both have sales today. Photontek is on sale for $325 and SF is also on sale but for $289. Which is a better light for a 3x3 tent? Thanks

Ive heard great things about those photontek fixtures but have been running spiderfarmer. Usually the price would be much higher for the photontek no?

Yeah 410-430 always and 325 today. Ehh issues just got a lot costlier but will be worth it in the end. Was chatting with my lady and she said go big or go home. Gonna grab a 4x4 tent with all the fixings so now need more of a 600w light for a 4x4. I have the HLG Blackbird in my 4x4 and now not sure what to do. Is a SF7000 overkill in a 4x4?

I have the sq300 and its a fricken beast bro, it also makes anyone seeing it jealous because of its svelt european design. I also have the se3000 and its also a banger light, much warmer spectrum though. So far both lights seem good, but Photontek is for sure pricier “premium”brand.

As for 4x4 tent light suggestions, I would run a 500-600 watt light. Good thing about a more powerful fixture is you can run it dimmed in peak flower and get high numbers but low heat and high efficiency. Also, HLG’s are good, but Im finding they run a bit hotter than bar style lights. I would rock a bar style.
Examples of lights i like:

Covert LED X 500 is a beast of a light for a 4x4. It technically will flower a 5x5 too. Same brand as my 5x5 light, and its a really high quality light even though covert is a house brand.
Photontek X465 pro: awesome light, 465 watts seems like a pretty perfect amount of light for a 4x4 w/o pushing it
Growers choice roi e420 is also a good light, almost went ROI for first light but they had a sale on the covert 630 pro.
As for 600 watters, the covert 630 pro, photontek 600 watt light, 2xhlg 260 watt QB kits

And imo a 700 watt light in a 4x4 is overkill. I would rock a 5x5 man and just satisfy the urge to go full growing addiction
