I had some very large trunks from my grow this year, I want to make a pipe out of one. Is this plausible? I know the "wood" is light, but I could treat it. Or just smoke very little until it builds a cake.

I'm not looking for a serious pipe, but if it's usable it would be fun to show off lol.

Send the stem to someone who Stabilizes wood, Then you have something that you can work with and it not fall apart.
Allot of wood workers who stabilized wood would be pen tuners, knife makers.
You can sand/file to shape and then put thin super glue on it. The pores are huge .. do not get the dirt sand paper and dust into the water pores of the stem.
Wood hardener would work to..

I do not know how much a stem would shrink
