I'm good on all the snake oils boys, AgSil 16H for us from here on out, Plants have biggest stalks we have ever had this early into Flower have been giving them 2.5mL to gallon of the stock, 2-3 times a week since the clones were rooted and a bonus no Fucking Chlorine either.

Very interesting thread guys! I have tried various potassium silicate products but i havent used some of the silic acid products suggested here. Any of you smarties out there know anything about Bulletproof SI from Cutting Edge? I have been using it in my RDWC system. This is a quick paragraph about bulletproof from cutting edge's website.

And what about pH? Aptus Faslitor jumps > 8 in 24 hours @ .5ml/gallon

We use RO water to start with and the 16 H is added before anything else and allowed to mix for about 10 mins then everything else is added then PH down to around 5.9 for coco and it stays right there very little PH movement of the working solution.

The ph of the water after 16H added jumps the ph sky high, way more then the Aptus ever did, The aptus when added @.6mL to gallon is around only 1.83 ppm, 16H @ 2.5ML is around 24ppm.

Also I have Lab samples that were tested 5-7 days later and it only moved to 6.0-6.3. from 5.9

About to make my first stock solution tonight. Any tips would be greatly appreciated. Gonna use my magnetic hotplate/stir to make sure it's throughly mixed. Do I need to strain it after with filter paper/ coffee filters?

If I'm using veg+bloom in coco was wondering if the added potassium from the agsil would mess up the npk ratios or is it negligible? The local ag store has 50g barrels of agsil25 for hella cheap more than I would ever need but split between friends might be worth it. @Quantrill @oscar169. Thanks for your time:)

with agsil 25, and a silicon concentration in the working solution of 32 ppm Si (~69 ppm SiO2), you would also be adding ~23 ppm potassium. It is something you should consider, but it is not enough of an addition that it alone would be likely to cause any major plant problems.

New product tested to add to the list of fertilizer sources for silicon. Grow-Sil 99.9% pure biogenic (plant derived) silica. Thats right, 99.9% pure SiO2, produced from rice hull waste. Thornton labs tested it via the JAOAC, Vol. #96, #2, 2013 method approved by AAPFCO for fertilizer labels and the results came back at 6.28% soluble silicon (Si).

good find bro. im buying this tomorrow to test it out.i like that it does not have K in it so i dont have to worry about that messing up my other nutrients and additives, even tho its got 6.28% PAS the rest of the silica in the product im sure becomes avaliable at some point doesnt it? im a outdoor guerilla grower so i have plenty of time for it to break down

NPK also has a silica product

RAW Silica contains 45% Silicon Dioxide which is the highest concentration of silicon dioxide available to the home gardener. RAW Silica is flowable and suspend-able in water and naturally available to the plant. Since RAW Silica is a natural form of silicon dioxide, it is PH neutral and does not cloud when added to water. RAW Silica can be used during all stages of growth and bloom for optimal stem and cell wall strength. It is a beneficial supplement to all feeding schedules. Works in conjunction with all nutrient and feeding programs.

RAW silica is diatomaceous earth, look where it is in the comparison

way over priced weak sauce
i think it's similar to kelp4less in that they claim its pulverized or something in such a way that makes it more available than traditional de. yet to bother testing it yet as i still have tons of ksi but is there any credence to that argument? doesnt seem likely to me but i don't have the knowledge to say.
