Potassium silicate at max solubility tends to fall out with cold or if oversaturated with anything else. I still add ortho/monosilicic first to avoid precipitation with potential contradictions from chitosan or fulvic acid, which tend to be more soluble and are added last.

So to simplify for those of us who arent as well versed in scientific terminology, is this just saying that DE will add the silicon needed for stronger plants or is this a specific type of DE and that a regular old bag from home depot wont do the same thing?

Will grow right out of a crack in the sidewalk baba!lol.
it will also grow beside a sign post set in concrete@ the beach, you know the one telling you NOT to swim, to the rock pile 300 feet from the beach[ stright sand and gravel].

How would you guys rate GHE/T.A Silicate (old mineral magic)?
Didn't see anyone mention it.
Label says it has 84% SiO4 of which 43% are SiO2.

Why does one need silicate ? have read post still confussed ?

I think the silicate for the majority part is effective at strengthening the stalks on plants which allows for more yield but it also tends to just add to the overall health which deters bug and disease from taking hold.

It does many things and the difference can be seen or felt as the branches are alot stronger. And it can help vs budrot along many other things. VERY good stuff, but do your research. Don't just throw potassium silicate randomly to your rez, it can lockout nutrients.

The best available source of silicon is orthosilic acid. That is the molecule which can be used by plants. I see a lot of Silicon oxide products. That will not work.
