Evening, farmers!

This bag seed a buddy wanted me to grow out for him is starting to smell like hay in its 5th week of flower. Two 1000w HID fixtures, running a few CO2 bags so I still have the temps at reasonable levels (sub 30c) . In ProMix BX and using Remo Nutrients along with some micronutes(no pics as I believe its unrelated). However I suspect my humidity may have something to do with it? The cooling I've got is keeping things at ~35% humidity at all times which is probably way too low. Could it be that or am I over-feeding?

Now, I've heard both that you should prefer lower humidity in flower as well as people preferring higher humidity (nearly the same as veg) and I realize it's probably because of situational variability but I'd love to know what you guys keep it to and why.

Cheers and happy harvests!

Any pics?
Hay like smell is usually once cut down and the drying starts.
Now humidity wise, 50 ish at flower and 45ish last 2 weeks.
how dense is it? Do we have necrosis happening , it’s why a pic will vastly improve the answers folks can contribute
